Hang in there my friend.  I can't even begin to think how brutal a week / weekend it's been, and today will be (was, depending on when you read this) infinitely more painful.  Wish I could be physically there to try and be some kind of support, so the best I can offer is my most sincere and heartfelt condolences for everything you're going thru.

Thank you so much, you guys. You two are dear friends to me. My sister's funeral is in 2 hours so I'm about to get ready. It's a rainy, dreary day so far. Hope the rain at least stops soon.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone... Been home for a few hours now. The weather broke sometime after the ceremonies were all done and I got some flowers back to my place; now it's still windy but it's bright and sunny outside and feels wonderful. I like that. Tomorrow will mark a weird new start in my family's lives.

Oh I just saw this just now.  I'm so sorry, Katt.  I cannot imagine losing one of my siblings.  They are the touchstones of our lives...really the only ones who share our histories and our experiences in such a unique way.  My heart goes out to you and yours and I wish you peace and healing.  :heart
