Are we really back now ... 2:18 EST. 2 1/2 hours down, and I didn't know what to do with myself.
Well, better than the crash of '07

No kidding. I've had to actually work for the past couple hours when I would normally be
wasting time contributing valuable thoughts and insights here!

Yeah....my boss came in and checked on me because I turned in several things in a very timely manner this morning.
-
Seriously. I got way too much work done in way too short of a time frame.

'07? It was more like 2010, I think. I was a regular poster here and that didn't happen until 2009. And we have posts going back to 2011, I believe.

The forum servers couldn't handle the hype and excitement over the release of Distance Over Time! :metal

Oh yeah ... right. April 27, 2009 - https://www.dreamtheaterforums.org/boards/index.php?topic=16.msg51#msg51
I do seem to recall one in 2007 though too. The one in '09 was brutal, because iirc DTF actually lost all the posts, but for some reason, retained the post counts.

With what? His analog gear? Dude has no fancy gadgets to hack with.

He does, however, have a lot of time on his hands. Unless SoA is currently on a worldwide tour I am unaware of, or spending months in the studio on their next album.

Well, according to some people, Derek is working tirelessly to write the SOA album on his own (since obviously they didn't just write it in 5 days like Portnoy said) so I'd say he's very busy crafting the brilliant album.

McSherinian. All he needs is bubblegum, a rubber band and a paperclip to cripple the site.

Every time I login, the site revolts because I actually like a new DT record. bosk put a workaround in, so we're all good for now.
