You can vote for up to 7.
I went with:
Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding
I'm Still Standing
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
Madman Across the Water
Sad Songs (Say So Much)
Tiny Dancer
Grey Seal
-
I could only go 6 deep.
Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting
Candle In The Wind
Philadelphia Freedom
Rocket man
Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding
Crocodile Rock
I knew a few that I didn't pick, but there were quite a few songs I didn't recognize.
-
I went one less than that.
Don't Let the Sun Go Down (started appreciating when George Michael sang it with him - I prefer that version)
Sad Songs (Say So Much)
I Guess That's Why They Call It the Blues
Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
Daniel just missed the cut.
A few one there that are fine, but not worthy of my vote.
Songs that are hideous are:
Crocodile Rock
Bennie and the Jets
I'm Still Standing - because it is in the movie Sing and my daughter played the hell out of that soundtrack for like a month straight.
-
Your Song
Saturday Night
Levon
Daniel
Funeral
Tiny Dancer
Brick Road
I've never been a huge fan, but I remember my mother spinning his records a lot when I was a kid. Levon is by far my favorite song from him, and I always liked One as a very good ballad, but it didn't make the list.
-
I was supposed to vote until I realized my favorite Elton John song is not here. :lol
Don't go breaking my heart!

6 up from the bottom.
-
Not crazy about Bennie.
Saturday, Candle, Rocket, Funeral, Tiny Dancer - those all got my votes. Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding is my favorite EJ song.
-
Fairly poor selection of songs. I don't think anything in my top 5 made this list.
As it was I could only come up with six that I'm crazy about.
Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting
Levon
Burn Down the Mission
Border Song
Funeral For a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding
Madman Across the Water
-
Rocket Man. That is all.
-
Fairly poor selection of songs.
??? ???
I thought I did a pretty good job of touching on his career highlights and including most of his popular and/or well known songs. To each his own.
-
Rocket Man
Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (one of my favorite vocal performances by anyone ever).
Missed:
In Neon
High Flying Bird
Come Down In Time
The One

My top 5 Elton Songs all-time.
1. Ticking (this is not even close. This might be in my close to my top 10 all time by anyone...but I've never compiled that list, so I'm not sure)
2. I've Seen That Movie Too
3. The Border Song
4. Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters
5. Sixty Years On
EDIT - In fact, "Ticking" is one of those songs that I cannot listen to without shedding tears....every time.
And I actually got to see him do it live when he went on his one man tour (just him and a piano...no band) and played a bunch of deep cuts. He even pulled out Carla/Etude from the album The Fox. It would impossible for him to ever top that night in my mind.
I also have a deep fondness for the album "A Single Man"...his first without Taupin. Excellent and underrated album that often gets forgotten.

I don't think I've ever heard Ticketing.
I went with:
Your Song
Levon
I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues
Daniel
Rocket Man
Tiny Dancer
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
This thread reminds me that I really need to try and make it to the Charlotte Elton John show.

Half of my faves aren't on this list. I voted for the ones that were.
I would have voted for:
Someone Saved My Life Tonight
Indian Sunset
Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters
-
Don’t forget sacrifice. That was one of the first I remember hearing.
