For the third time in a row, Darkest Light is the first song to bite the dust. I personally think that's a shame, because I believe it's the best thing on this EP, but I also realise that I'm in the minority there probably.
Anyway, next round. Loser joins Consolation, the winner goes to the Finals. Tomorrow the first round for Affinity starts, so get a listen in to decide that your first vote will be for affinity.exe.
My vote goes to the longer track.

I stand by my affirmation that Earthlings is the best song here by virtue of being the only one to improve upon the original
I don't think any song on this EP is that great though :P Crystallised is probably objectively the best but I'd rather just listen to Snow.

See and I feel like Crystallized is the one that WAYYYY improves over the original. The other two each have their better moments in both the new versions and the originals. But the whole "chronicles of life" section going into the "snow is falling all around" is just pure magic. I've heard it 100 times and I still get goosebumps. The only thing that I even slightly like better in the original is the addition of the background laughter during the "laughter" line.

Crystallised is clearly the class of the EP. But with that said, I still prefer Snow....and about 80 percent of Haken's other songs over it.r
