Title: Mystery Science Theater 3000 v Season 12 “The Gauntlet”

Season 12 premieres on Netflix today. I knew the cast would “settle in” after a decent, but slightly wooden season 11. I’m halfway through Mac and Me and I’m already laughing harder than I did for most of last season.

OMG GUYS!!!!   THE CAMEO AT THE END OF EPISODE 4!!!!

And the best part is that the final movie is going to be the first ATOR movie.   (the prequel to the Cave Dwellers episode)   How much Keefe does this movie have?    Miles....Miles O'Keefe....

My son and I literally just did the gauntlet in one sitting. Hadn't intended to at all. My whole Friday went in a flash. They definitely reigned the riffing in to more old school MST levels.

And yes, the cameo shocked the crap out of me. Never thought I'd see that, ever. They did a great job keeping the lid on that.

I wish there was more to watch but, I'm just glad the show is back and finding its stride.

Episodes 3 and 4 sortof leveled off to me.   But I had high expectations for the ATOR episode and I was not disappointed.    I really think it lived up to the level of Cave Dweller.   Season 12 definitely is better than 11 and I hope they get a chance to keep going.
