Title: Maniac (Netflix series)
Post by: Phoenix87x on November 16, 2018, 05:56:13 PM: Well this is quite the oddball show. jonah hill and emma stone in a quirky show which is hard to even explain.

It reminds me of Twin peaks, mixed with Brazil mixed with 12 monkeys kind of, but its really its own thing and very unique.

So, at the end when they were driving off and there were several visual indications of things they saw in the dreams.....was that to mean they were still in the dreams and it hadn’t really ended? It seemed like the resolution was legit but they did show things from the dreams.

But that might be a good thing, and I am enjoying it. This show is wildly unique and I will give it props.

I felt the same exact way. But, I found myself needing and wanting to keep watching so that says a lot about the show itself. Very good acting....very unique 'feel' to the show. It does stand on its own as something completely different than what's out there.
