Previous round results:
Streams 3 (17.6%)
Aquarium 4 (23.5%)
Drowning in the Flood 5 (29.4%)
Sun 5 (29.4%)
Tie-breaker round results:
Drowning in the Flood 7 (50%)
Sun 7 (50%)
Songs not mentioned here received zero votes.
The tie-breaker round ended in a tie, which means I'll have to resort to 'most votes in previous rounds'. This gives Drowning in the Flood 4 votes, against Sun's single vote in round 2. As such, Drowning in the Flood is eliminated.

This leaves the 'traditional' top 2 (although DITF placed second in 2015), the usual #3 (occasionally #4) and Sun, which has never come this far before.
Let the voting commence.

Streams, but I could have gone with Sun as well. The other two are easily my favorites.

Sun....
I guess this opens up a new strategy. If it's early in a survivor and you know a song is going to be eliminated by a wide margin (Eternal Rain in this case) one could start voting for a song like Sun for future tiebreaker considerations

Lol what is Sun doing in the top 4 :lol

If you want to waste your votes this way, go ahead. It's quite unsporting to do so though, if I'm allowed to say that.

Streams.
Though I'm happy that Sun made it to 4th already, and I would be fine with it leaving now as well.

You're allowed to say what you like.
I play survivors as they were originally intended...to try to have my favorite song (songs) survive for as long as they can. Hence the name of the game. Otherwise.... we're just voting our least favorite song over and over and over.
However in this case, had I voted for Sun instead of Eternal Rain in round 1, it still would have won the tiebreaker with Drowning in the Flood, and I suspect if 0-1 people are playing with strategy, it will have no affect on the final rankings.

Well, I was just doing the math in my head and it doesn't really make much sense to start voting for songs early on in the unlikely event that a tie-breaker round would end in a tie yet again. In 5 years of Haken survivors, it hasn't happened before that I could not eliminate a song after a tie-breaker round. The only time something similar happened was in 2014 when the final round of the finals ended in a tie. I let both finalists 'win' then.

Was that the Rush survivor when 2112 and Xanadu were co-winners?

I've only ever run Haken survivors. It was the 2014 edition that had both Celestial Elixir and Visions as winners.
