So for the last 2 weeks or so I've been having those on and off burning/stabbing feeling in some of my fingers, but I dismissed it as just pain because it was pretty weak and only came once in a while, some days I didn't even feel anything.
So yesterday (actually today 10 hours ago :lol) I'm going to bed and I'm getting this burning pain in some of my fingers again, but it's pretty strong and I didn't really recall it feels like that pain so I assumed it's from the green pepper I put in my toast 1 hour ago. I am very smart so I touch my eye to check  it was indeed the green pepper. SO after some washing my hands and standing for 10 minutes for the pain to go away I finally go to sleep.
Now, two short paragraphs later and about 1.5 hours ago (I'm in the middle of writing and I just realized I made it sound like I woke up today on 3 different occasions lol) I'm waking up and I'm feeling the burn again, and it's pretty strong. I actually realize it's probably the same pain I've been having for some time and NOT pepper, and I go searching this shit up and apparently it's main cause is diabetes, and I won't say I didn't wonder if (and sometimes how don't) I have diabetes with my SUPER HEALTHY LIFE except it's not super and it's not really healthy.
So I'll go to a neurologist hopefully today or tomorrow.I probably would've known this if I listened more in biology. Meanwhile I'll wonder if I should've posted this on the 2 years old thread (there was a big red box telling me to consider not doing that!)

If it's something you experience when you're waking up, are you sure it's not Carpal Tunnel?

This is not quite related to the thread theme, but I remember when I was in the bar with friends on my business trip to St. Petersburg we ordered some food and one of us ordered something with some hot-as-fuck (chili?) pepper. So we sliced it and each took a slice to see if we can keep a straight face after that.
So I take my slice with my hand because hey, everyone's doing that, eat it, holy-shit-it's-hot-and-burning-oh-god, I'm trying to keep a straight face, and then a small fly gets into my eye, and of course I wipe my eye with the same hand I used to pick a slice of that pepper. :lol That was fucking awful. :lol

I don't know what it is, but it's not only after I'm waking up. I felt it throughout the day (but I'm almost certain it was more painful when I posted this around 10:30)

Let's see... TAC went to the University of Massachusetts Medical School, I went to the UConn Medical School, Evermind went to the Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry so...
NOT!!!
Go to a walk-in. That could be nothing, it could be stress, it could be how you sleep at night (Dave Mustaine!), it could be diabeatis (because that's how it's pronounced), it could be your heart...
I get it, we have some very smart people here and even some medically trained, but go see a specialist who can do a diagnostic check on you, please.
-
Yeah, get thee to a doctor. Could be neuropathic or circulatory...or nothing. But it can be a sign of a bigger issue, best to get it addressed quickly.

No, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express. ;D
Yes, by all means, goto a doctor.

Thanks, I'll go tomorrow/Tuesday morning :D

Do your fingers turn whiteish when they hurt?
-
Have you touched anything insulated with glass wool or stone wool?
-
Do your fingers turn whiteish when they hurt?
Nope, just a different kind of pain I didn't recognize any other symptoms

Gotcha, so probably not raynaud's.
-
Could be Gout coming on. Get it checked.
-
Sounds like it could be Stadler Syndrome. Most common symptom is being a major pain.

Isn't that in the keister though?

Have you tried responding to his posts in P&R, it's a minimum 1000 words for each post man. That's some major aches right there...

I black out from his use of synonyms.

And words that mean the same.

I'm standing right here. I can hear you.
Oh, and TV, it's THE gout. My grandma said so. :)

:lol
Gout sucks. It's something you'll have to take medication for the rest of your life.

I am not a doctor but I played baseball for years so as my coach would say..."rub some dirt on it!"
So that's my best advice.
but to be serious, never try to diagnose yourself or ask others who are not qualified. See a doctor. Don't mess around.

Old people get THE Gout. Everyone else just gets Gout. So, you're grandma is correct; but they're two seperate conditions.
