Title: Symphony X Survivor - Finals - Round 11

Round 11 of the Symphony X survivor finals. In this division of the survivor, we decide out of all the songs that made it to the finals, which song deserves to win the survivor. The top 29 songs from this division will go on to the finals. Vote for the track you think is the least worthy of winning. If you don't care about voting &/or haven't heard all of the songs, but still want to know the current results, select "(see results without voting)". You cannot see the results otherwise & once you have voted, you cannot change your vote. Round lasts 24 hours.

Well, I don't know what's worse - someone rigging his own survivor, or many people genuinely dislking one of Symphony X's greatest songs  ;D

Beautiful ballad, nice evocative lyrics, melodic and interesting vocal lines.... it's a gorgeous track and basically the template for most of their slower and more melodic songs in albums to come.

Seems S-X is quite a polarizing band here.  I was stunned that Underworld was the first album to have all songs roasted.

Maybe it's just a clash of the two eras of the band, and how and when fans discovered them and which album... the earlier, more proggy and complex era VS the more streamlined, heavy and grrr-metal latter era.

Also, these songs are so damn good that, while I stress that voting for Edge of Forever and Candlelight is criminal, I can't even complete the sentence "Why are you voting this when there's stil.............. around". Can't really point among these songs left to a track that has no reason to belong in a top list.

Perhaps, but that doesn't necessarily apply here - Underworld is my #2 or #3 fave album.  And while PL and Icon are inconsistent on the whole, their best songs are f'n awesome.
