Swan Song is finally out (:woot:) & we're left with honestly a pretty meh top 2, but I guess it could be worse. Anyway, I don't really enjoy either of these songs, but one of them in particular really rubs me the wrong way. SX to me has always struck me as a band who's good at incorporating a lot of technical prowess into their songs without it faulting the emotional value of the song. This song though, seems like they just totally dropped the ball & made the whole song shredding without giving it as much of a reason to exist. The only part where the song really feels like it achieves some emotional value resolves in a complete anticlimax, which honestly sums up my opinion of this album rather well. While the track I'd prefer to win doesn't have much special about it either, my vote goes to
