Not really responsive to the question asked, but I do enjoy watching the women's version of this sport when it shows up every four years in the Olympics (especially the Dutch team).  Also, my son and I were digging through used video games at a GameStop and came across the EA Sports Handball game.  We both found it rather hilarious that this game even existed in the U.S. (where pretty much no one has ever really heard of the sport).

A guy in my highschool played it, and man, he was constantly injured.

I'm only commenting because this a girl I went to high school is vacationing in Croatia and happens to be at the same hotel as some of the teams.

I used to play this when I was younger. If I catch it on TV I'll probably watch it but it's not something I activelly look to do. All in all is a super fun sport to play.

Pretty cool. Do they have to dribble?

Yes, you can do 3 steps before and/or after the dribble, more than that is considered travelling. But given the size of the ball and the fact that the opponent can actually grab you then only time you dribble more than once is when running a fast break.
