BESERKER!!!!!!!!!
:metal
Very cool, Ninja!
-
Damn that is some good power metal.

New song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZcWVsDSqpE
Honestly, this could end up being one of my favorite albums in a long time.
-
Reminds me a bit of Heavenly.
-
I know I shouldn't like it because it's all cheesy and over the top, but...
DAMN I LOVE IT!!!! :metal Berserker is an absolute kickass track, and Blind and Frozen it's so catchy that it should be illegal. Looking very forward to hear the whole album, if it's all this insane, it's gonna be a treat!
-
Yup...Might have to buy the album.

I must be missing something.

I'll have a better listen through these links later, but nothing blowing my socks off here.
-
Nah, don't worry about it. :) It's been cool enough though.

Yeah, they kinda saved the best for.... first, since the two songs released (Berserker and Blind and Frozen) are by far the best ones of the album.
-
Yes, I love Battle Be... er, Beast In Black.
-
I don't think anyone else is as into this band as I am, but they just released a new song:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3bWR_aLlas
I think they're by far one of the best power metal bands to arrive in a very long time.
-
The first new song released was beyond cheesy, but Die by the Blade is indeed kickass.
I saw them live opening for Nightwish, it's a pity they rely so heavily on backing tracks (just get a live keyboard player, come on) but their show is fun and the singer is the real deal, he can really scream like he does on the songs. They're a guilty pleasure for me :D
-
So, since there's already a topic for them (but not one for Powerwolf, why?)... they've released their second album, From Hell with Love. Abba meets Judas Priest (no, seriously). It's this strange hybrid of pop keys / synths, illegally catchy choruses and power metal onslaught. I still have to understand if they're brilliant, or cheesy beyond belief :lol
The singer can wail, sing and scream egregiously though.
-
They're brilliant and cheesy, in true power metal spirit.
I agree that the singer is incredible. The songs are good and catchy and rocking and I'm sure they'd be good with any decent singer, but the vocalist they have is what really pushes the music over the top into fantastic territory, in my opinion.
-
Some of the music sounds alright, but I'm really not feeling this band.
-
Thoroughly enjoying the new one, as I have the previous 4 records Anton Kabanen's put out.
One day I half expect to get bored of him pumping out these albums but this is not that day.
They're brilliant and cheesy, in true power metal spirit.
They're so cheesy a cheese shop in the capital of Cheesetopia would be embarrassed about their relative lack of cheese. It's ace :metal
I can't exactly say why this guy's stuff sits so well with me... I do enjoy power metal typically but normally I find that whilst it's perfectly enjoyable to listen to I find little of it particularly memorable.
-
These guys kick ass and Yannis is unreal.
-
Finally, metal I can do the Alex Wright dance to.
-
Saw a couple of video's and wasn't impressed, until today.
Decided to give them a listen on Spotify and I like it enough to buy the CD.
To my ears they sound like a Eurovision song contest band with some heavy guitars.
The production is very sterile modern pop, specially the drums and keyboards.
They actually remind me a little of Sabaton.

How Beast In Black orders a coffee..
