Never understood the dislike for I Am I....brilliant moment in QR history. After the extremely disappointing Empire, the lead single proved QR were back

By extremely disappointing Empire You mean album as a whole? I have to disagree, but I understand that for someone Empire could be a disappoinment. Could be, because of slightly different approach to music that They take. I think that They wanted to fit with their music into 90'. Of course They made it, but IMO They made it without losing Their specific music character.

Agree with ya on I Am I.

Empire though, I would disagree. however I do consider half of Empire to be a little overly commercially polished and or a little wimpy. That said I think I know where your coming from with your mindset. But.... the same could be said for half of Promised Land, but I do love both those records.

I am a big fan of I Am I as well.  I think it's one of their best album openers.
