Title: RIP Frank Vincent
Post by: SystematicThought on September 13, 2017, 06:19:08 PM
Perhaps not the most well known actor ever but he's played supporting roles in a lot of iconic movies. He sadly passed away today after complications during open heart surgery. He was 78

He got whacked by Joe Pesci in Goodfellas, mercilessly beat Joe Pesci in Casino.

He antagonized Tony Soprano as Phil Leotardo.

If you played video games, perhaps you heard him as Salvatore Leone in Grand Theft Auto 3 and San Andreas and Liberty City Stories

He had an iconic voice and look. He will be missed

Just watched the entire Phil Leotardo story in 30 minutes (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dY_7g8rA4Q&t=770). Great character. Great actor.

I had no idea the Frank Vincent and Joe Pesci had been in a band together in the 70s.
