Title: Have you guys ever heard of Discord? Well, here's a DT server.

It's been a (long) while since my last post, but I just wanted to share this with you guys.

Discord is a text chat app. It's really to use and to manage (create servers, share them, etc.)
I joined this Dream Theater server through the /r/Dreamtheater subreddit and thought it would be nice if you guys did the same. They arrange listen-throughs sometimes, which is really cool to share thoughts on an album or song, and there's a lot of cool stuff like... memes. Anyway, it's a good way to quick-chat about DT and prog. Here's the link:

If you already have a Discord account, just click, if you don't, you should create one.

Just one last thing: I posted this on General because, although it's DT-related, this is just a "sharing" thread, not news or something.

I thought discord was meant for voice chat while gaming, either way, I can join on my home PC later.

I'd never heard of Discord until I got pointed to one for Pokemon Go players in my area. Pretty nifty platform, I'll have the check the DT channel out.

Damn. I just completely uninstalled Discord after quitting WoW.

I may have to reinstall for this. We should get a DTF server going.!

Dude.  I'm on Thrall-US as a Horde as well.  Don't expect much of me doing big end game content like raids though.  I spend my time just doing the Auction House stuff.

I'm kinda game for a DTF discord though.

I was on Trollbane  / Malfurion - Horde

But due to drama with what I thought were close friends, I decided to walk away from the game.

I may find my way back. I miss my Druid :lol

Installing discord then setting up a server. It's super easy and built into the app.

Just join the one in Salies post. There's no need to set up many different servers for such a small community that the DT community really is.
