Sorry if this belongs in the general music forum, but damn I would love to see the guys react to Babymetal's "Tales of the Destines"...Hard to see JP not loving parts of it.
It's obviously such a huge homage by the songwriters to Dream Theater. Unfortunately you have to own the newest DVD to see it live, but it definitely sounds good. Apparently Portnoy loves this particular song. Not surprising with how much it sounds like "The Glass Prison" at that one part ;D

I mostly hear:
Take The Time
The Dance of Eternity
The Glass Prison
Whatever, though, this band is AMAZING and it's just too bad people only seem to care about the girls.

That's awesome that you like the band...unfortunate that you don't don't like most of the attention being put on the girls (I will say they could def show the band more on the Bluray's)
I think there is a growing fanbase out there that is crazy about this band and what they do, though.
The fact that we have songs like this, "The One", and "No Rain No Rainbow" on one album is incredible to me. I just hope they keep going in that direction even if it's only 2-3 songs per album.
Edit: Thanks for pointing out the "Take the Time" influence! Hadn't noticed it specifically till you pointed it out.

You already posted almost this exact thread back in December :lol https://www.dreamtheaterforums.org/boards/index.php?topic=49071.msg2249786#msg2249786
Plus you seem to be active in the main Babymetal thread: https://www.dreamtheaterforums.org/boards/index.php?topic=40910.140
So there's really no need for this thread.
