Cockoach King vs Visions could be a no vote, it's the hardest match of this group for me.

(it's the local version of Married with Children, so most of you won't understand what he's saying, but the important thing is how he says it.. The "melody" he does at 10:44 is almost exactly the same... Just can't get it out of my head, and needed to say it :azn:)

Visions is a boring slog, easily Haken's worst epic.
Cockroach King is one of their most interesting and quirky songs.
In typical DTF fashion, the epic wins.

I think Cockroach King is a lot of fun, but it's not better than Visions. It just has so many great parts.

surprised to see --- NEXT MATCH BELOW --- doing so poorly in every round. i expected it to at least make the top 15, if not top 10. really underrated track apparently

And in a very rare case of me agreeing with Parama, I too am surprised that NEXT MATCH BELOW is doing so poorly here. ;D

I wouldn't quite say Visions is "a boring slog", but I agree with it's being easily Haken's worst epic, for what it's worth.

I have listened to Visions properly, and I can safely say that I too find it to be Haken's worst epic by a longshot. The best part of the song is the part where they copy the Premonition guitar riff and play it in a different tempo, so I usually just listen to that instead. I also feel like it tries way too hard to be a 'quirky' song when it really shouldn't, with that extremely obnoxious "I guess you won't remember..." section.

At least it won the best song of the two.. It's not their best epic but neither their worst, IMHO..

I never thought of it like that, and I do like that section... but I think it'd be better if it wasn't repeated so many times..
