Title: There's a new Phishing email scam today. be sure to avoid it

So I accidentally just clicked on this stupid email and want to make sure nobody else does.

It says you are invited to a google doc. I wasn't thinking and clicked on it since was from somewhere I thought was legit.

It looks like this

note the h's, that's how you can tell.

Just be careful to avoid it

I also clicked on it for some stupid reason  :facepalm:

I didn't log in to anything though when it prompted me to.

Well, of course it did the typical "you have a virus thing" , but it looked like something auto downloaded as well. Maybe it didn't,  I freaked out and closed everything without getting a real good look. It did want you to log in further though as SystematicThought mentioned.

I guess my question would be why would you click it? Were you expecting something from reception@reception? Have you ever even heard of such a thing? Were you expecting an invite from anybody?

For me, my email came from a student at the college I used to go to. Even though I graduated, I still get emails for surveys and such and that's what this one looked like.

I graduate next week. We just completed classes today. It said it was from the IPPE office, whom have been sending me emails almost on a daily basis regarding the graduation process and this fake one was mixed in with legit ones.

This is what I saw
