I'm sure he has but MP would never admit it. I don't think I've ever seen an interview where MP even acknowledges him by name.

Knew that was bullshit. But something as small as Portnoy complimenting Mangini is somewhat believable. Well done, sir.

Fuck. I really wanted to read MP saying something along the lines of

"I tried my best to accept and admit we've part ways, but seriously. I was gone and they go and release and album called A Dramatic Turn of Events. Dramatic turn. Dramatic. Drummatic. You just know you gotta come back and release a drums-only DVD with that name and Mangini just didn't take the fucking chance... I HAD to return!"
