By just ONE vote, TBP loses and places third, going on to the Consolation Rounds. What's even weirder is that the other two songs were also a vote apart, so I can only imagine how close this last round might be!!!
Starting tomorrow will be the 11-song B-Sides/Cleaning Out The Closet survivor!

Hate to be that guy, since The Bigger Picture is honestly one of my least favourite DT songs to ever reach the surface, but last round "?" posted this:
Oops, I accidentally clicked STR instead of IT. Can I change my vote?
Which would've tied them. But I don't know how you'd handle these kind of things.
Anyway, my vote goes to Surrender to Reason.

Surrender to Reason... Illumination Theory is heads and shoulders above every other song on this album, and is one of their masterpieces.

:facepalm: I recall seeing that post yesterday, but it totally slipped my mind as I posted today's final round. Whoops... If ? isn't too upset by it, I can keep the results as they are, just to keep things moving. Otherwise, I'd have to close this round, open a new round for breaking a tie, and then do the Final Round after that.

I think it'd be fair to TBP to have a one-on-one battle with IT since they technically should be tied. Then again you could argue that it's the voting person's responsibility to choose the right thing, so I think it's up to you really.

Surrender to Reason. It's bottom 3 of the album for me.

Surrender to Reason
The orchestral section itself in the middle of IT alone lifts this song way in the air. It's just so emotional to listen too. Also the easter egg has got to be one of the most beautiful Petrucci/Rudess duets ever.

Yeah, I'm fine with no tiebreaker.
I think the fact that STR is in the finals says a lot about how divisive this album is, as I've never seen that much praise for it around here.

Surrender, but I was this close to not voting 'cause I have no real love for any of these songs. It should have been Bigger Picture first and Veil second. Uh well!
