Systematic Chaos (Personal Remix)
Constant Motion
The Dark Eternal Night
The Ministry Of Lost Souls
Forsaken
Repentance
Prophets Of War
In The Presence Of Enemies
I hope everyone is paying attention! The order of the songs is in my personal tracklisting order, to accommodate the fact that ITPOE is presented as one song here. Basically, I've shuffled "Forsaken" and TMOLS around, and used their wind-crossfades to go into each other, rather than into/out-of the two ITPOE parts. It's a very nice listen if anyone wants to re-order their playlists like this!
Anyways, this should be an interesting first round, considering the generally mixed reactions this album has had over the years. I suspect that either POW or "Forsaken" will go first.

Interesting order, I've got to say.
Prophets Of War, even though it's still very good. I have to admit, I like all of these songs. Some of them are truly fantastic.

Not a fan of you making up your own order.
One of my all time favorite albums. Like/Love every song.
Forsaken

This is a weird order.
Constant Motion. The middle part is great (especially the guitar solo), but the rest is nowhere near as good.

Wow 5 different songs all have 1 vote right now, as my vote goes to Repentance. I bet profits of war is going out though.

Repentance. I enjoy all the other songs to varying degrees, but never been too keen on Repentance.

The terrible song that no one dared to listen to

This album...the album that is divided by Petrucci's "fantasy" lyrics, James' political lyrics, and Mike's personal lyrics.....I love Petrucci's lyrics here the most.
Whenever I here a song by Petrucci, I can imagine I'm living that journey. It's a really nice feeling, I feel like I'm drifting out of this world.
1. In the Presence of Enemies
2. The Ministry of Lost Souls
3. Repentance
4. Prophets of War
5. Forsaken
6. Constant Motion
7. The Dark Eternal Night
But TDEN. The lyrics are awesome, the instrumental is badass, Mike's vocals are killing it! But, I like the rest better.

TBH, I had wrestled with the idea of doing it album order and just placing ITPOE at the end, but I wanted to share part of my personal experience with DT's music.
Besides, the starting order has no bearing on the survivor - what matters is the ending order, the final ranking, and which songs are in the top 3.

I quote everything you said. Maybe Prophets Of War is good and not "very good", if I have to be precise.

Yeah, because the other order option, the only one that's actually in the album and it's the original tracklist, is too strange or long to be considered... I guess?..

Nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
