That's a damn shame. He was also Lloyd Henreid, though the film adaptation didn't really give him the chance to humanize him as much as I would have liked.
-
My dad watches whichever NCIS show he's on, and I did notice that he looked very frail/weak the last time I saw him. That is a shame.
-
Aw man I loved him in Robocop and Twin Peaks.
-
I've been watching him on NCIS L.A. and you can see that his health was failing.
-
Sad to hear this. He is of more significance in terms of my watching/listening habits than the vast majority of other recent celebrity deaths. Perhaps not an A-list actor but one of the more distinctive presences (and voices) on the screen.
RIP

He was definitely one of the better actors in The Stand. I always thought that he did a great job despite the limitations that were put on him in doing that role in a TV movie.

Wasn't he the suspected traitor from Hot Shots 2 that turned out to be a coward?
Great character.

Didn't realize he was sick. The type of actor who makes any show or film better by being in it, now matter the size of the part. His Albert Rosenfeld in Twin Peaks is glorious. As was his Lloyd Henreid.

Great character.
It's the only role I know him from, he was pretty funny.
RIP.

R.I.P. Recently watched The Night Flier for the first time and I liked it a lot and he was good in it.

RIP. I actually first saw him in Crossing Jordan (which I haven't seen again in forever), and thought he was great in Robocop. His role in Star Trek TSFS wasn't huge, but still memorable.

Had to look him up, but was afraid it might have been him. He was pretty cool. RIP

I loved that series. BTW he is cousin to George Clooney.

I just found that out a couple of hours ago when reading a page about him. I never knew that.

Loved him in LEVIATHAN. He was the guy who misunderstood orders and blew up the charges that freed the Leviathan and started all things in motion. That characters death in the rapidly ascending escape pod that didn't decompress was brutal also.
