Not exactly a household name, but I thought he had an amazing voice.  I only knew their one song, but when it comes on, I always sing along.

I have always loved You Spin Me Round because of his voice.

You Spin Me Round has always been my number #1 all time favorite dance song (yes, I have a #1 all time favorite dance song). Aside from the awesome remixes, the original is just a damn good dance song.

Sadly, I had no idea who Pete Burns was when I saw this news.

He was probably more famous in the UK for having stupid amounts of plastic surgery and being a bit of a twat.
The song was huge here but not everyone associated him with it. He was more of a reality tv star. Still 50 odd is too young to die

Don't know, but his many operations may have weakened his heart.
