Here are my votes, Haken really did it this year with Affinity I think. I did really enjoyed The Astonishing live in the Carre theater.

Man, wish I could vote multiple things for certain categories. The Astonishing/Dream Theater is the obvious choice for everything, but I want to give iamthemorning and Haken all the support I can too.

Album of the Year: iamthemorning - lighthouse - they really deserve more exposure
Band of the Year: Haken - definitely
The Storm Thorgerson Grand Design Award: Opeth - Deliverance & Damnation - not too fond of all the choices, btw

How is the Anderson/Stolt CD up for a vote yet when it hasn't even been released yet? :facepalm: :lol

It seems almost too easy to vote for DT this time around, especially for me. I have only heard two of the CDs up for Album of the Year - The Astonishing and the Haken record - and the DT one is definitely better.

Album of the year: Haken - Affinity (TA isn't a bad album, but I like Affinity a lot more, though I only got into Haken recently)
