Powerslave was Iron Maiden's first album to feature the same lineup as the previous album. This stability arguable helped enable the Irons to fly to heights previously unknown. Powerslave is almost universally praised as a heavy metal classic, and is considered by many to be the band's finest outing. It also launched the largest tour in the band's history, which spawned Live After Death, one of the greatest live albums of all time. Though the middle four tracks of Powerslave don't receive a ton of a renown (only Losfer Words has been played live), the four outer tracks are all absolute classics, and are enough to raise this album to tremendous heights.

Not sure what I'm going to vote for at first. I think all four of the middle tracks are solid but not great. I know it will be one of those, and I suspect it will be The Duelists, but I want to give this album a listen before I commit to that, because it could easily be Losfer Words or Flash of the Blade.

Should we think already now of the inevitable "clash of the titans" (the first and the last 2 songs) since one of them will be eliminated forever and one will go to consolations? :lol time to think ahead and make some hard choices or "allegiances" in case someone is madly in love with these songs and really, really wants one to win.
