My GF got me one, isn't she amazing? :heart

Can anyone comment on how this re-issue sounds? I've wanted to grab FII on vinyl for a while now and haven't yet pulled the trigger on any of the available versions.

Haven't heard any other versions but it's of a great quality. Don't think it too much

A numbered vinyl release for only $10. Why does this not seem legitimate?

It's legit. We have a surplus of them and am willing to offer a great price.

Why did you post it in the bootleg forum, then?

I can say at least for the Images and Words re-issue it sounds amazing! They tuned up the bass a little but more and Portnoy's louder cymbals down a hair so but other than that it sounds as crisp and amazing as always! Awake and Infinity should be similar. Unless they are more like Scenes From a Memory. To me, that vinyl felt more like a 1-1 copy of the CD but on vinyl. Not that that's a bad thing but... it just doesn't feel as special as getting a whole different listening experience like Images and Words brought.
Same with the Rush albums. They did such a good job remastering them for vinyl that it feels like a whole new album. I will never go back to the CD of Moving Pictures after hearing how awesome the vinyl sounds!
So really... it's a 50/50 shot. If you really love the album get it anyway. If it doesn't sound any different at least you have the cool large album art to display.
