I figured we have books being read, albums and songs being listened to, so now it's time for food.
I ordered myself a large pepperoni pizza and chicken fingers with blue cheese on the side.
-
Homemade pesto with angel hair, garlic bread and a nice bottle of Cab.
-
Pizza from a local chain called Flippers with some delicious breadsticks. It was glorious.
-
The last thing I ate was some cookies with chocolate chips at 5pm. Now, I'm about to have something for dinner. I was thinking a chicken milanesa with some salad.
Although...

Went to a brewery/BBQ place called the sterling pig
I got the BBQ combo which consisted of Pulled Pork, Brisket and ribs with side of mashed potatos, and corn bread. It was damn good

It may be because I'm buzzed but that picture seems a bit off.

This is the thread to avoid if you're on a diet. :lol
-
Just hit up the new Chick-Fil-A across from Mrs. C's office. They opened yesterday. There was a line out the door and down the sidewalk. 20+ minutes to get from the sidewalk to eating. Not as bad as I'd expected it would be really.
-
cafeteria chicken wrap on spinach tortilla...was tasty but expensive.
washed it down with some Glossette Raisins and a water.
-
For dinner last night, a homemade salad.
Considering it is Friday today, it is almost guaranteed I will be getting the McDonald's Filet O'Fish that is super cheap this time of year. Possibly salmon for dinner.
-
I bought some nachos after work today, to celebrate the arrival of the weekend.
-
Last thing I had was a mini-eclair.
Now someone get me that BBQ combo, stat!
-
Made some pizza, using flour tortillas as the base.
Added: tomato sauce, cream cheese, guacamole, tuna and blue cheese.
Some rucola and garlic on top.

Part of me wants to try that Pizza. Part of me wonders if you are pregnant.
-
Bacon and egg breakfast quesadilla earlier. I brought a salad for lunch, but I may go for Korean short rib tacos later. Not sure.

PolarBear's or mine ?
-
I just had a couple of donuts for lunch.
-
A pizza I used to make all the time when I still worked at pizza hut was chicken, tomato, and jalapeno. They worked surprisingly well together.

I had a Nutrisystem Blueberry Muffin a few hours ago with some Cottage Cheese, I am out to eat some sliced ham and some nuts.
I'm living the life.

I just realized that my favourite time of the week is on Friday afternoon, right after I come back from work. I usually get a milkshake, or some cookies, or something nice for dinner (pizza, Pringles, ice-cream, whatever).
Today I had these cool mini-breads with little pieces of salami inside. In about an hour I think I'm having a milkshake.

PolarBear's. But there's lots of food that sounds like it won't work only to end up being a new discovery you can't stop bragging about.
-
That was how it was for me with the chicken, tomato, and jalapeno pizza. I made it on a whim one night, just to see how it would taste and ended up loving it.
-
I didn't catch it the first two times. What kind of pizza again?
-
Hawaiian
-
Little Caesar's. People can't believe someone actually ate that. What next? Arby's?
-
Three Cheese cheeseburger and fries.
Why yes, I'm a fatass, thanks for noticing.

In general, I stay away from LC's. It is the lowest common denominator in terms of pizza. If I am going to abuse myself with the calorie intake involved in eating pizza, I want it to be good pizza. That said, the bacon wrapped pizza looks like something to try once out of sheer curiosity.
-
Well, bad pizza is still pretty good. So for the money, I don't mind it.
-
Just had some cashews and 3 pieces of Babybel Mozzarella Cheese. Those little nuggets of waxed wrapped goodness are one of my favorite things to eat. I have a Babybel cheese problem. I eat at least 4 or 5 of those little bastards every day. It's so much of an addiction that I plan to tour their facility in Kentucky this summer when I do the Bourbon Trail again.
-
I just had a few pretzels. I think I'll make pasta tonight for dinner.

That along with Domino's, Pizza Hut, and Papa John's.

Domino's makes a great pizza, and at the price of the Little Squeezer's pizza.

Trade that with an everything bagel and that is one my favorite meals of all time.
Last night I went out with my brother to this place next door to where I live called Fergs. I had 10 blackened naked wings and we split a pitcher, delicious.

Hah it was damn good. Not heavy either, which made finishing it not feel like I had a bowling ball in my gut when I was done.
Last thing I ate was breakfast 3 hours ago: plain bagel toasted with cream cheese, lox, tomato, and onion, a little egg salad, and an iced coffee.

That's how I originally made 'em but since I'm a food in bed guy I hate how messy everythings are. And yeah, this is definitely in my top 20 all time if not 10. Been lovin 'em since I first tried 'em 15 years ago.

Fried up over 10 pounds of meat and let it finish cooking in tomato sauce (which was also seasoned with the pan scrapings)

This'll be dinner tonight and tomorrow night, and then the rest will be split up and frozen for future use.

What kinds of seasoning do you add into your sauce?
-
That pasta looks great, Billy boy!
I just finished eating a pound and a half of bacon-wrapped pork loin.
-
What kinds of seasoning do you add into your sauce?
No spices or anything like that. It's basically just sauce simmering on low heat for a couple hours while the meatballs get made and all the meat gets fried (with a little tomato paste added an hour in to thicken it up a bit). Once all the meat is done (ideally cooked most, but not all of the way through) I add it into the sauce, along with any drippings from the bowls they were sitting in, to let the meat finish cooking in the sauce. I also scrape what was stuck to the bottom of the frying pan into the sauce, sprinkle a little cheese on top, mix it all up, and let it simmer for another couple hours. It was good last night, but after eating leftovers tonight we'll separate the rest into a bunch of smaller containers and freeze for future use, and it's always better after it's been frozen and defrosted.

No complaints with any of that. That's pretty much how I do it, as well. I sometimes add in a few more things if I feel inspired to - usually wine, pork, beef, and skin. There's a whole different world of flavor after that, and it's definitely better the second time around.
-
Today I had some chicken breast with cheddar sauce accompanied by some baked potato. It was ok
-
Last night for dinner we did breakfast burritos. Our options to fill our burritos included:
scrambled eggs
bacon
crumbled sausage
fried potatoes
shredded chees
sausage gravy
Glorious.
Interestingly enough, we never actually have breakfast food at breakfast unless it is on Sunday morning after church and we eat out somewhere lol. Otherwise it is always a meal we fix for dinner.
-
I had ramen for dinner last night.
-
I had the crumbled bits of dry ramen that fell on John's kitchen floor when he opened the package.
-
Small bag of White Cheddar Cheez-Its.
-
Three hard boiled eggs with salt and pepper.
-
My version of the Long Life Salad from a triple D episode a few years back. Kale, homemade honey vinaigrette, red kidney beans, quinoa with red bulgur, black-eyed peas, pistachios, walnuts, dried cranberries, and feta. Eating with a whole wheat pita.

Capicola, whipped cream cheese, and sundried tomatoes on a toasted onion bagel.

Went out for a nice dinner with the family tonight and had a 10oz filet mignon. It was finished with butter and garlic, and served with a green peppercorn sauce. That + a nice glass of cabernet = fairly epic meal.
-
I've always liked chicken and fish much more than red meat, but filet mignon done right is heavenly.
-
Bratwurst with melted pepperjack cheese on sourdough bread and cantaloupe
-
I just had some dinner: a couple of slices of pizza, a stromboli, and an antipasti salad.

Didn't want to start a whole new thread, but anybody love cheesecake?
Besides getting a single slice with dessert while eating out, where do you normally get a whole cheesecake and how much do you usually pay? Have you found a nice compromise between taste and price?
-
Didn't snag any pictures, but I cooked bucatini amatriciana last night. Sofa king good.

I'm gonna go backwards in time and talk about the meal I had on Saturday, because I wish that was the last thing I ate every damn day:
Drinks: Macallan 12-year pre-meal with fresh Italian bread and roasted garlic olive oil for dipping
During meal: Wife and I split a bottle of Artesa Carneros Pinot Noir
Appetizer: Smoked fish platter with salmon, halibut, and trout served with chopped red onion, capers, and goat cheese. Also during this, had a small portion of my wife's appetizer, fresh lightly battered mozzarella in a pink sauce (not mozzarella sticks, but an utterly mindblowing slab of fresh melty cheese, lightly battered and softly fried and covered in the sauce).
Main: Osso Bucco, veal shank served over risotto with an Italian vegetable sauce
Dessert: Ungodly house-made tiramisu soaked in coffee liqueur and Grand Marnier with a fresh cappuccino

Just bought burgers for one of the 4 shifts we have We've gone a half a year OSHA safe.
I had a hamburger called "The Baller"
It has 3 shredded buffalo chicken balls fried over the hamburger. I am fulfilled.
-
I ate three oranges for lunch. I haven't eaten an orange in probably a decade, maybe more. I just went to the urinal and my stream smells like citrus. Is that normal?
-
Yes. If you sweat, your pores would probably take on the same scent.
-
Heinz Tomato Soup with crusty buttered rolls. :)
-
Rubber buns and liquor?
-
George ? ???
-
I haven't eaten today yet but last night I made ramen noodles, but I didn't use the condom package. I added my own spices in.

Don't you have heart issues, or am I misremembering. In any case, you probably do now. :lol
Lunch: Leftover homemade chicken tortilla soup; mixed greens salad topped with roasted asparagus, feta, and pumpkin seeks, with olive oil and balsamic.

Oh man... it's awesome! Grizzly Claw has some chocolate overtones to it anyway, but the cacao really brings it out-front; the cinnamon just gives it a really nice finish.

I'm going to look for that blend. I'm almost with the Starbucks Verona blend, which is pretty good.
-
I like the Three Sisters Blend personally. The Kick-Ass blend also does well for us.
-
Oh yeah... Kicking Horse is good stuff. :tup Kick-ass was the first roast I tried and then I kind of mixed Kick-ass with Grizzly Claw until the Kick-ass was gone. I haven't tried Three Sisters yet.
I thought it was amazing how the cinnamon changed the taste of both roasts; I still got all of the taste of the fullness of the roast, the cinnamon just added another layer... it's hard to explain. The addition of the raw cacao was just to up the antioxidant quotient; to much cacao kind-of runs the cinnamon off a little bit... you have to balance it.

I just ate an eierkoek, but since they probably don't exist anywhere outisde the Netherlands, here's a picture of one (or rather, two):

I had an extremely shitty day, so I wallowed in my misery with a gigantic order of mozzarella cheese fries for dinner.
Extra cheese. Extra crispy.
It was glorious.
I'll hate myself when I go to get dressed tomorrow. But for tonight, it was absolutely, completely worth it.
-
I either love or hate cheese fries. If the fries are soggy or the cheese came out of a can, do not want. There's a bar by me that makes great cheese fries though, covered in a homemade cheese sauce. I've had borderline inappropriate dreams about those cheese fries :blush

-
just had 2 slices of cheese pizza for dinner. Yummy
-
I had three slices for lunch. One was a buffalo wing slice and two meat lovers slices (pepperoni and sausage).
-
Two slices of pepperoni pizza. They were free since it was at my accounting club in school (though I had to pay $55 to be a member).
-
So I saw a dish I must make. It was a shepherds pie pizza. I already have it mapped out in my head.
-
I was gonna post this last night but forgot. Went to one of my favourite Mexican places in town and had tableside guacamole and chips.. as well as some fucking amazing Shrimp, Steak, and Chickem fajitas. So Good.

Take 5 candy bar, because it was there. I did not want it. I did not need it. It was not appealing. It simply existed in close proximity to me. Being a female over ... um.. a certain age... is a bitch.

Cooked fettuccine carbonara last night, and enjoying some leftovers right now for dinner. Much tasty.
-
3/4# Nation's Hamburger, because I'm totally fucking worth it.
-
Just had some matzah and eggs and orange juice.
Yup. It rocked. I think tomorrow I'll make some spicy quinoa and beans.
-
Belated birthday dinner with the family. 10oz filet in a butter and garlic preparation with a green peppercorn sauce. A nice glass of cabernet. Came home and had some chocolate truffle cake from a local bakery. Feeling :hat as hell right now.

The soul of some poor misdirected individual who tried to hit on me by displaying the exact stereotypical traits that I so despise and calling me pet names without considering how my body-buiding, NHRA driving husband of 23 years would feel about it.

some people just don't think.

So did you feed on his soul, or did your husband? Or both? :lol

So did you feed on his soul, or did your husband? Or both? :lol
My husband isn't a soul eater, he's a neck breaker. Gotta watch out for those. Everything seems fine until they snap. Thankfully I usually handle problem individuals without need for intervention from him.
-
And how many necks has he broken?
-
And how many necks has he broken?
I like how you question the literal value of the neck breaking but not the soul eating. It would be far more difficult for me to prove that I do, in fact, ingest souls.

Which means the opposite would be just as true. You can't observe the action on an abstract concept.
