I'm not sure what's up with the opposition to Strange World, but I'm personally ready to come after one of those often-played debut songs that I don't think is anything more than good.

I'm with 425 on this one.  Strange World is one of the shining 'beautiful' Maiden moments that are few and far between.

Indeed. In fact, I think the coolest thing about the debut is that the band's sound wasn't quite set in stone yet, so we got Remember Tomorrow and Strange World, which you wouldn't hear on any other 80s Maiden album at least.
