Edit: The new Bjorn Riis album will be out on April 8, 2022

I can't believe that nobody is talking about the new Bjørn Riis album.

It's one of the best album that I have heard in 2014 and a must for the fans of Pink Floyd, Steven Wilson and Riverside.

Oh yeah. Love this album. Probably my favorite of 2014. He doesn't shy away of showing his David Gilmour's big musical influence on him. Title track is probably my favorite.

Definitely hear large Floyd, Gilmour influences all over this. I'd never heard of the artist or their music. Being a big Floyd fan I enjoy a good bit of it. Pretty cool.

I ordered it from Bjorn's website the day he announced it. Haven't received shipping confirmation. Hopefully I'll get it soon.

listening to some of this now...

I'm often a sucker for bands who are highly influenced by Pink Floyd and even to an extent PT.

I say *influenced* and not really a copycat (Archive esp ala You All Look the Same to Me, vs say maybe the most overt PT copycat band Abigail's Ghost).

I'll have to give this band some time, but initially I am enjoying quite a lot of this.

I guess this is the solo project from the frontman of the band Airbag? who while I don't know, I recall were on Cruise to the Edge a few months ago.
