Title: The Offical Tennis Thread v. Surprises in Rome!

As the subtitle goes, big surprises in the Internazionali D'Italia, with Djokovic being knocked out by Berdych and Murray retiring from the tournament a couple of days ago. :o

My serve was pretty bad, but I could hang my hat on banging ground strokes from the baseline and chasing down anything that came over the net.

Since 2014, Fed, Rafa, and Novak have one of the 53 of the 63 Grand Slam events. Rafa has more French Open titles than all but 5 players in history have total Grand Slam titles.

I’m a Nadal fan so wasn’t sure who to cheer for in that men’s final. It certainly is unreal how dominant the three top players have been for such a long period.

Being Canadian, it’s also great that we have a few young exciting players to cheer for.
