I am guessing that Witch Hunt is going to lose. I've always liked that song more than other people seem to though, so I've voted for The Camera Eye.

YYZ
-
Red Barchetta
Good song, though.

Witch Hunt is better than The Camera Eye, and the first four songs are the best four, so The Camera Eye needs to go.

Witch Hunt
Easy choice.

All too easy.

I think the live versions of Witch Hunt are quite good. they add more energy that the studio version is missing. But I have to vote for it anyway.

The same. Witch Hunt are nowadays maybe even more topical than it was on 1981. My favourite Rush lyrics aside Red Sector A.
Quick to judge
Quick to anger
Slow to understand
Ignorance and prejudice
And fear
Walk hand in hand
The extreme right and racism raise their ugly heads and people are hated because of unnecessary reasons like their skin colour, not because what they are as persons.
Sorry, I slipped to P/R. Great song, both musically and lyrically.

Witch Hunt is better than The Camera Eye, and the first four songs are the best four, so The Camera Eye needs to go.
One of the more tired and played out mindsets among Rush fans. Red Barchetta has a very cool intro but the verse is decent but pretty uneventful and the solo seems to not quite do the song justice or evoke thoughts of mechanical music or an adrenaline surge. Tom Sawyer's fairly awesome but ain't that much better than TCE or VS after years of radio saturation and its outro just seems a tad meandering and drawn out. YYZ is pretty well without fault. That B/C section with all the fills before Alex's solo maybe seem a tad repetitive to folks who don't pay attention to how much variation and embellishment is going on, but this song is one of Rush's most well written ever so I won't try to call any of the last 3 tracks better than it. Limelight's pretty awesome in parts like the chorus and solo but the intro and verses definitely (imo) don't hold up to the epicness of TCE or the spry reggae vibe of much of VS.

KevShmev is correct. No.

I think y'all's collective unwillingness to bother with constructing a coherent rebuttal proves my point pretty well.

:lol :lol Okay, whatever you say. I am sorry I didn't respond to your completely subjective opinion with a completely subjective opinion of my own. I am sure that would have showed you.
