Title: Connecting a metronome to a Roland drum pad

I use a Tama Rhythm Watch on stage, but I find it difficult to quickly adjust the tempo between songs. I want to connect the metronome to a Roland drum pad so I can switch tempos by striking the pad, instead of manually adjusting the Rhythm Watch. Is this doable, and how do I set it up if it is?
