Hello and welcome to my 2nd Annual Neal Morse Survivor, for the 2012-2013 season! Here I will post the album results, and eventually, the finals! To start off with, I'll post the track lists/options for each survivor, then as we finish each album, I'll update the track lists with the final results. As usual, each album's 3rd place song will move to Consolation, with the exception Testimony, which will have it's 5th and 6th place songs move into Consolation, while it's top 4 songs will move to the Finals (as I have done with previous double albums in other Survivors).
Because of that, the Consolation Rounds will consist of 10 songs (2 from Testimony, and 1 each from the other 8 albums) and the Finals will consist of 22 songs (4 from Testimony, and 2 from each of the other 8 albums, plus the top 2 of the Consolation Rounds).

I'll be voting as often as I can! I would totally be interested to see how the best couple of songs out of this survivor would hold up agains the best SB (NM era) and TA songs.

Same! I haven't heard all his stuff yet, so I'll be voting for the albums I know well enough.
That is an awesome idea, to pit maybe the top 5 songs from Morse and Beard against the, say, top 2 of the coming Transatlantic survivor.

Well, you're in luck! I'll be conducting my 2nd Annual Spock's Beard Survivor next year, which will include the band's upcoming 11th studio album, so it'll be another long one!
Also, who is doing a Transatlantic Survivor? If no one else was, I was going to run it after my SB Survivor, which, by that time, should be after the 4th album comes out.

Can't wait! :tup

As an update, a few days before I get Testimony under way, I want to let everyone know how I'll be running the survivor for that album. In the past, with similar double-disc albums, I have done multiple-vote elimination rounds, and I think I'll do the same thing once again. Here's how I'll be running it:
Round 1 - Vote for 7
Round 2 - Vote for 6
Round 3 - Vote for 5
Round 4 - Vote for 4
Round 5 - Vote for 3
Round 6 - Vote for 2
Round 7 & beyond - Vote for 1
This should knock out a good portion of the album, like last time, especially some of the shorter/filler/segue tracks.
Anyways, everybody get your album-spins be the weekend and write down which 7 tracks you want to vote off in the first round!

Added the results from It's Not Too Late! Now we go through Testimony, which will take a little while (at least another two weeks) and bring us into the New Year!
I want to thank everybody so far who has participated and I hope you all continue to do so! :tup

Yeah I was sad about that, it's one of Neal's more touching ballads!

Updated the OP with the results from ?

Updated with the (mostly predictable, and repeated) results from the Sola Scriptura Survivor!

Updated all the results just before we enter the 2nd to last round with the TOP THREE Neal Morse songs in this Survivor! Just want to thank everybody once again for participating, and fans of Spock's Beard should stick around in the next week when I begin my SB'13 Survivor!!!

Added the Final's Final Round's Results and the final ranking for the Finals... Finally, it's final!
"Seeds Of Gold" takes the gold, while Neal's latest epic "World Without End" goes Silver, and "The Door" in Bronze.
Good top/final three, and I'm OK with the Top 5, too, although I wish "So Many Roads" was 3rd, as much as I love the two epics from Sola Scriptura, I really do love "So Many Roads" and would have loved to see Neal's 3 latest stand-alone epics in the Top 3.
Thanks again to EVERYONE who has participated in this!! It was a TON of fun to do and I'm sure I will run it again in a couple years after Neal's next solo album, which, after another year or two of Transatlantic and Flying Colors, he'll get back to by 2015!
