Sam Jackson is an actor.  Acting is cool and all but not something I would consider to be "bad ass."  He does play a lot of bad ass characters though.


Biff Tannen is not a bad ass.  He is a dipshit bully asshole.

It's not just how badass they are in a direct physical showdown.  I look at it as how bad-ass are they relative to their situations/environment.  Drago couldn't even beat an enemy on his own turf, and had his own supporters turn against him.
