Title: Dream Theater Survivor 2012 - Awake, Round 5
Post by: splent on August 10, 2012, 07:07:24 PM: At first Iw as like YAY TIEBREAKER but then I was like Fuck. You guys voted off one of the best songs on the album horrendously early AGAIN. I love Innocence Faded. ARGH. I did enjoy this being anything but one sided though. Awake is one of my favorite albums on the survivor for this reason.

Everything except for The Mirror and Lifting Shadows could be tied....therefore I will vote for ANYTHING that saves The Mirror and Lifting Shadows. Because I really don't have a "least favorite" among the other five.

Don't be angry. Voices is my second least favorite on the album, but it's easily the fan favorite.

6:00, for the fifth time. I'm bit indifferent with this round, because every song here is great -> two great songs go to finals. But Voices and 6:00 are a bit weaker than the other nine, and I try remove them before final round. But if Voices survive (which is very likely to happen), I don't mind. After all, I like it very much.

It's a shame for Caught in a web, I love that song, it was so much fun both times I saw it live. It's one of their better crafted short songs in my opinion, if not the best.

I dislike it for the main reason most people seem to dislike SDV: pointless voice samples.
If you voted off SDV, it's surely not much of a stretch to remove 6:00.
