First of all, sorry. I know this has been asked several times already, but I couldn't find any polls about it. Just curious.
I have 41 atm. I bought my first album only 1,5 years ago so I thought most of you guys have more albums than me.

1.How often do you buy albums and do you buy more than one at the same time?
2.Do you ever sell the albums you have bought?
In my case: 1. 1-3 albums once or twice per month. 2.No. Only if I really dislike the album.

21 to 30. I'm thinking about selling them. I'm content with mp3's and would have no problem with just having an ipod and a computer.

Somewhere in the area of 100.
1. I don't really have a system for buying albums. I just buy ones that I am interested in. Could be one at a time or eight at a time. Could be once a year or twice in a week.
2. Frequently.

More than 200. I buy about a CD a week, so my money flies away towards music. I never sell my albums.

Somewhere over 800, possibly over 900 now. I've lost count :lol

1. On average, I'd say I buy anywhere between 2-4 albums a month, although I've gone through dry-spells of not having bought new albums in over 2 months (due to a lack of available finances).
2. I rarely sell albums, but I would only do so if I have a duplicate or older version to sell. Otherwise, I might just give the old/outdated album to a friend.

I have no idea, and didn't want to take the time. I would estimate somewhere around 100 though.

More than 300. Shit, I bought 70 alone the year I was 16 working for $4.75 at Wendy's.

1. Usually every week. Sometimes I have bought up to 20 cd's at one time.
2. No. I did when I was very young when my musical tastes change, but now there is no point, as they pretty much have no value.

Impressive. That's a lot! How long have YOU been collecting? I only started less than a decade ago, and I'm somewhere around 700 CDs and around 150 DVDs/Videos.

Nice! So you are 28 as well? I didn't seriously start til around 9 years ago, but it was slow back then, maybe 40-50 albums a year, but now it's a lot more. I recently bought a Media Tower that is about 85-88% full of CDs (so about 900), and the rest with DVDs, although I couldn't fit all my DVDs in the remaining space. Should've gotten a higher capacity tower!

1. Anytime I find something interesting or want to order something to the record store.

1. Only if I find some really rare or new good album.

I'm guessing I'm around 1,000 items at this point, but I haven't kept track in years.

I just had to buy more CD racks because the old ones held over 800, and I had piles all over the place b/c they wouldn't fit anymore. I'm sure I have over 1000 CD's...and I'm probably pushing about that number on vinyl as well. Somewhere around 2000.
