Based on the discussion Flying Colors had during the writing of the song. What's your perceived correct order?

I think the "correct" order depends on what the person you're responding to just said.
If they'd said "I should have done more" the right order would be "Shoulda, coulda, woulda." If they'd said "I could have done more" I'd (never) respond with "coulda, woulda, shoulda."
I think the order of priority is probably "coulda, woulda, shoulda," but you always lead with what you're responding to. That said, the bottom one just looks right. Which did FC go with? Don't have the album myself.
All I know is that the more I look at these words written down, the less they look like actual words. Which, in their defence, they're not, so good work them.

I've always thought it was coulda woulda shoulda. Never heard anything else either... :/

Same.

Coulda woulda shoulda.
I could have, but i couldn't because __________, and I would have, but i didn't, because then__________, and now looking back, I should have, because ________.
I think the first two are interchangeable, since they're both kind of pre- and should have is post; completely hindsight.

The correct order is "Shoulda coulda woulda."

I think this is correct. Haven't used the term in a long long time.

Aye.

Nah.

We don't say stupid shit like this in the south. We're too busy sounding high-class and sophisticated.

Shoulda coulda woulda. Partly because it sounds right to me, and partly because they used it in an Eastwood auto insurance commercial, telling an uninsured motorist who was just in an accident, "Shoulda coulda East-woulda!".
-
Every option but Shoulda Coulda Woulda sounds very strange to me.
-
The first and last ones I seem to alternate between.
-
I've never actually used the phrase, so it doesn't bother me either way. I'm just wondering, is there any justification for a "right" way besides being the one you're used to?

Coulda Shoulda Woulda was my vote. Now that I think about it I easily could have chosen others :lol

That one makes the most sense to me, because it's like, "I could've done it... Dammit, I should've done it... If I realized that then, I would've done it."
-
Woulda Coulda Shoulda is all I've ever heard it...
But what's really surprising me is that the results really don't show any definitive answer. I think that pretty much proves that it's very cultural specific...depends on the area you live in...or your particular group of friends.

Second choice.

Lou Rawls says: "If I Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda"

Did.

I don't think it matters. They all say the same thing.
-
The correct order is "Shoulda coulda woulda."

" Damn I bought an Encore Strat when I had the money for a Fender USA Strat. :/ . I shoulda bought that instead"
" Yes. You're an idiot. "
:hat

I would default to alphabetical order in the absence of a specific rule, so CSW.
