Anyone ever done one of these? This is a well known test that goes off of all sorts of different criteria. It will be curious to see if there is a higher percentage of a specific type on DTF.
I got ENTJ.
Test: https://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp
If anyone wants more info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myers-Briggs_Type_Indicator
-
I think I took this once already, for shits. I can't quite remember the results, but it may have been ISTJ
will retake and post my results, the test's interpretation of my personality, and my level of agreement.
EDIT: Re-took the test and I am ISTJ

Short summary of this personality type:
"In general, the ISTJ has a tremendous amount of potential. Capable, logical, reasonable, and effective individuals with a deeply driven desire to promote security and peaceful living, the ISTJ has what it takes to be highly effective at achieving their chosen goals - whatever they may be."
(full description here: https://www.personalitypage.com/ISTJ.html
and here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISTJ: )
I agree with parts of this, but not all. I don't think I'm quite as driven in my desires as it seems to suggest, nor am I as effective a worker, although I do try to promote security and a calm, quiet living. I also try to look at everything with as much logic and reason as I can (although I am sometimes biased; I ain't perfect)
-
ENTP I think it was. I'll take the test again maybe.

Ahhhh....Myers-Briggs. Yes.
I have long been an ENTP myself. :metal
Disney, Tesla, Franklin, Edison, Feynman, Wilde, Shaw, Socrates, Voltaire, TempusVox. Sounds about right.

I'm a INFP, apparently.

Got INTP although I vaguely remember doing that kind of tests before and getting INTJ or ISTJ. I've become much more open and socialising in the recent years. Some of those questions I wasn't a hundred percent sure and I feel I could have answered better if instead of jobs it had asked me about university life.

ESFJ I'm a provider. Yup.

INTJ's are masterminds...we must unite to take over the internet

Took this test about 3 years ago, and I am still INFJ.

I just read the description for INTJ and its freaking me out how spot on it is.

I'm the only ENFJ?

that's ok, so far I'm the only ISTJ

Famous people:
Famous people of your particular type
Mark Twain, Bill Cosby, Oprah Winfrey, Betty Friedan

fuck this shit
I couldn't choose between yes and no for anything :p
-
I always flip-flop between E and I and sometimes between J and P, but am always a strong N and F. Let's see what I get today!
INFJ. Yep.
Social work is the first occupation listed :lol. Social service (check), health care (check), and art/science (yep).
Quite a range of famous people: Mother Teresa, MLK Jr., Nelson Mandela.... Michael Landon, Tom Selleck, Billy Crystal, Jerry Seinfeld... Mel Gibson?
In regards to the questions: how the fuck is shopping "actively socializing"??

So I'm like INTJ I guess :/

Nope, I just took it and got ENFJ as well. *Highfive*
-
INFP, it fits.
-
INTJ.
Definately liking the mastermind-description and the comparing to Newton, Gates, Bohr and Hawking-part.
-
This is the tenth time I've done this test and I've gotten ENTJ almost every time. The only time I didn't get ENTJ was the time I got INTJ.
Extraverted:1
Intuitive:38
Thinking:1
Judging:33
Probably because I'm only ever so slightly extraverted.
-
INFJ. Hurrah.

I've always been INTP. I'm not surprised by UMH's INTJ at all..

I've taken it a few times, and somehow I usually get either INTJ or ISTJ. Don't know why it flip-flops.

Because these tests are about as accurate as horoscopes, I think :lol

I wouldn't go that far.
Dude, the reason is because some traits are stronger than others (look at the numbers corresponding to each). I flip-flop between introvert and extravert a lot because I'm sort of in-between (it really depends on the day/my mood/etc., I have been called both by people), whereas I always get intuitive and feeling because those are just much clearer in my personality. I have found it to be pretty accurate with me.
-
I got ISFJ with pretty low numbers for all of them. The description doesn't fit me at all, though.
"ISFJs are often unappreciated, at work, home, and play. Ironically, because they prove over and over that they can be relied on for their loyalty and unstinting, high-quality work, those around them often take them for granted--even take advantage of them. Admittedly, the problem is sometimes aggravated by the ISFJs themselves; for instance, they are notoriously bad at delegating ("If you want it done right, do it yourself"). And although they're hurt by being treated like doormats, they are often unwilling to toot their own horns about their accomplishments because they feel that although they deserve more credit than they're getting, it's somehow wrong to want any sort of reward for doing work (which is supposed to be a virtue in itself). (And as low-profile Is, their actions don't call attention to themselves as with charismatic Es.) Because of all of this, ISFJs are often overworked, and as a result may suffer from psychosomatic illnesses."

This pretty much fits me to the T without the Giant Pussy stuff :lol I would much rather do something myself and make sure its done right without calling attention to myself in doing it
I am a doormat plan and simple I get walked all over and just don't see the signifance in fighting about it

Huh...I would have been willing to bet a decent chunk of change that you would be ENTP, rather than INTP.
I'm INTP, and a very stereotypical one, with the exception of beiong pretty good at bossing people around when needed.

Huh...I would have been willing to bet a decent chunk of change that you would be ENTP, rather than INTP.
I've taken the test twice actually, once I was an INTP, once an ENTP :lol
The trick I think is, while I enjoy being around others, I always need a good amount of time by myself, because that's when I recharge my batteries.
Going alone on a 5-month trip around the world, I think there's a solid "I" in me :lol

ok fair enough. :)
You always gave off more of the "inventor" vibe to me, which is more of an ENTP than an INTP thing...of course, it's also sometimes tough to gauge these things online...and it's a continuum, rather than binary. Though I do sit very far to the "I" side of things, so I tend to lose sight of that.
-
INFJ. Seems apt.
-
A very strong ISTJ. I remember taking the test at a freshmen retreat for school 3 years ago and on the back of the sheet with all the personality types on it, it had a self-help guide to an ISTJ. Ever since reading the descriptions of my personality type on the sheet, I'm proud to be one

A long time later, same result:
INTJ
Introvert(75%) iNtuitive(22%) Thinking(62%) Judging(50%)
You have distinct preference of Introversion over Extraversion (75%)
You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (22%)
You have distinct preference of Thinking over Feeling (62%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (50%)

Unsurprisingly, I got insufferable ponce.

I haven’t taken the test in a long time, but I firmly identify as EXFP. (X means that my N and S are balanced…which I’ve been told is impossible, but meh)
I was probably more naturally an ESFP growing up, but some of the most influential people in my life (my father, my best friend and others) were all hard core N’s. They were constantly challenging me (or rather, encouraging me to challenge myself) to view things outside of my own spectrum. So I adopted a lot of N type of outlook and thinking.
