Personally, I know this is a very subjective question with tons of possible opinions. But I went with the correct answer.

Would Kosher Dill be in the Dill category? Because flavor wise they're quite different from (and better than) the standard Dill type.

Any other answer is very, very wrong.

Sweet pickles is one of those American inventions I don't understand. Kinda like that mustard that is really just a yellow paste with no zing.

Dill pickles.  I only like sweet pickles if they're these:

In this jar, is the sweet, delicious taste of pain.

I get them at Wright's Market in Salisbury Md. on the way to Ocean City.  They are so delicious that you do NOT want to stop eating them, but so hot that you don't have a choice.

Agreed.

Last time I went food shopping I meant to pick up a jar of these, but I accidentally grabbed the "Sweet" ones instead.  Didn't even realize it until I bit into the first one.  So disappointing.  :'(

SOUR pickles are the only pickles worth eating.

Yes. Yes I have. However I stand by my assertion that true sour pickles (as from a Jewish NYC deli jar) are the only true pickles. AND I'm quoting your whole post just to get my image displayed again.

I think you mean you like those best. Any cucumber jarred in vinegar and spices counts as a pickle. Just because it's inferior to your fave doesn't deprive it of pickle status silly.

ITT black_floyd gets serious about pickles.

See, I tried Claussen once and I didn't care for them.  Probably a little too salty for my tastes.  My go to brand is Mt. Olive.  Fantastic kosher dill pickles.
