This thread is to counter all the crying threads. When in a movie have you laughed when you were supposed be feeling mad/sad, etc.
For example:
I laughed when Simba started crying out for help after Mufasa's death.
Also when Jesse from Free Willy slips on the whale's tank and smacks his head on the concrete, the sound he makes is hillarious.
There are tons more but I can't think of them now. Someone else go.

You heartless monster.
-
when that fucking easter bunny in Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey goes "uh-huuuh" the face and the voice he makes just crack me up

:lol now that you mention it. What a creepy kid I must've been.

When Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet sink with the Titanic, and they were separated underwater, Leo's face is hilarious
-
I went to see Howard Stern's Private Parts in the theater with my wife. The scene when they show Howard with the big cowboy hat, nobody laughs except my wife with this huge snort of a chuckle that everybody heard. So that makes me laugh my ass off. My wife finds things funny when nobody else does and that's why I love her.

Hahaha yes! Also when the guy on the life boat tells Kathy Bates' character to 'shut that 'ole in your face!'
-
Not me, but when I saw Saw in theaters, some kids were laughing when the guy starts cutting his leg off...

I came in here to post that as well. I even had it all typed up and then I noticed this :lol

I laughed my ass of when Amon Goeth shot that Jewish architect woman in the head.
-
You know that scene in Shindler's List where the Jews are forced to run so that the Nazis could pick out the healthiest Jews?
During that scene I imagined Yackity Sax playing and the footage being sped up by 5x. Yes I know I am a terrible person. Deal with it.

When I saw Crimson Tide, at the most tense part of the movie, when when Denzel won't give Hackman the missile launch key and Hackman punches him in the face, some dude in the theater said "Whoa, hit that motherfucker back." The whole theater erupted in laugher and totally ruined the suspense of the moment. But it was worth it.

The scene in Avatar where the humans are firebombing the giant tree and the cookie-cutter crew-cut military asshole guy is saying a bunch of corny predictable lines. Even when everyone was dying I just couldn't help but laugh.

Weird, I found myself laughing throughout the entire film. Huh.

I watched Dirty Harry tonight, and really LMAO when Scorpio smacked the fat kid at the back of the bus. :lol
And holy shit--that was Garak. I had no idea.

Avatar, Robert Pattison.

I haven't watched the movie, but I heard those lines on the TV while my roommate watched it. I think they made me throw up a little in my mouth.

I remember going to see the World Trade Center movie (the one with Nicholas Cage) with two of my buddies. Now, this wasn't a film that we were dying to see, we were just hanging out and decided to catch a movie, whether we had heard of the movie beforehand didn't really matter. Packed theater (go figure), light go down, sad and mellow music starts with the screen telling us how many people died and basically what a tragedy it was (which it really was, of course). As we weren't really invested in the movie, my buddy decided he had enough and threw a large candybar in my face, needless to say we started to laugh like crazy. The whole atmosphere just made it even more funnier, here we are watching a really sad movie about the World Trade Center, people are ready for an emotional drama and all of a sudden 3 idiots at the back starts to laugh louder than a pack of elephants. I remember people being really angry and started to yell at us, saying we had no respect for the dead and that we were supporters of Bin Laden and things like that, it was quite comical but we did shut up after that. This was in Sweden by the way.

The part in Ninja Assassin where the military rolls in to kill all the Ninjas. I mean jesus, a fucking tank just burst through the door of a compound/dojo/thing. My friends and I all cheered and laughed. Everyone looked mad at us.
Also the commercial before the movie where it told us to add the Navy Seals on Facebook. We all laughed. Then asked if we could find Osama on Facebook too.
And the best one I can think of. The beginning of The Green Hornet when the father is being a dick and calling his kid useless. We all laughed so hard.

Back in college I was at a party and everyone started watching Childs Play. I personally find this movie so incredibly stupid and I couldn't contain My laughter. I literally laughed through the first half of the movie until I pissed the host off who apparently thought the movie was scary. I had to leave. The movie is just so stupid. But that's just my opinion.

I agree with the child play thing. Made me laugh how a doll killed them all, and I would yell at the tv saying "Why don't they kick him or trap him"
