Title: Google down?

I don't know what's going on here, but I can't get on gmail, google, yahoo, or bing.  I tried searching for 'down for every one or just me' but I can't get onto any of the search engines I know of.  The rest of the internet seems to be working fine, but the biggest most reliable sites on the net are down for me.  I can't imagine that they're withholding their services as a part of some lame April Fools day prank.

Are any of these sites down for anyone else?

Google works on my phone apparently, which is using wifi from the same router that's connected to my computer.

What the hell

Any ideas why these sites wouldn't be working on my computer?

That didn't do it, but I got it sorted out.  I think it may have been caused by some updates I had installed without restarting my computer.

Whatever the cause may have been, it's working now.
