This is going to be epic.
-
Oh man I am all over this.
-
It has Louis CK, that's all I need to know.
-

You ain't kidding.
-
Man I still remember the first time I saw him live, I just about shit myself from laughter. Funniest night of my life.
-
The great thing about Louis is that he constantly changes his set yearly and his stuff is still strong and funny. The man is an artist.
-
Well this special has 1 and a half funny people, so I'll pass.
(For the record, Seinfeld has never been funny, Chris Rock stopped being funny a few years ago, Gervais is cool but not amazing, and C.K. is fucking amazing.)
-
The shows of the participants, in order of quality:
The Office
Louie
Extras
Seinfeld
Lucky Louis
Everybody Hates Chris
-
So... the other three are going to explain to Ricky Gervais what funny is?

Seinfeld has never been funny? The funniest thing in the preview is his thing about vacation.
-
This is going to be amazing.
-
I could see this going down as either the greatest event comedy has witnessed or the worst. Either way, I will be watching.
-
I wish Lewis Black was in the mix.
-
This looks lovely.
-
Okay, that's twice now that I've read the first name there as 'Garfield'. Obviously, it's better the way it is.
-
This looks sensational.
-
WHERE'S SAGET
-
So... the other three are going to explain to Ricky Gervais what funny is?
Dunno, have to say his skit with Patrick Stewart was awesome.
rumborak
-
Very much looking forward to this.

For the record, you apparently have no sense of humor.

For the record, it's Nick.

He also has probably the best comedic performance of all time under his belt. Not to mention most of his output over the last few years has been him, Stephen Merchant and Karl talking.
I'm betting CK will bring the house down though.

Isn't Seinfeld the only comedian over there who doesn't swear?

Pffft... Louis C.K. doesn't swear! ::)
Also... Jerry Seinfeld is funny. However, I do think Larry David meant more to Seinfeld (show) than Jerry did as far as writing goes. I think Jerry owes a lot of his success to David.

That is very clear with Curb.
-

Maybe not the worst, but I agree - it will either be awesome or a big disappointment.
-
HOLY SHIT! THOSE ARE ALL MY FAVORITE COMEDIANS! THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER! CAPS LOCK! I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS! I MUST WATCH IT!
-
I've been watching it now for 5 minutes, I haven't laughed yet. It's still good though.
-
So... the other three are going to explain to Ricky Gervais what funny is?
He still wouldn't understand but will assume they're the one not getting it.
-
C.K. and Gervais are awesome :hat

Man, I had the misfortune of seeing an episode of Lucky Louis once. It was just so mindblowingly terrible. I love Louis C.K., but that show was just beyond unwatchable. It was like a junior high play, but with less production value, worse acting, and lamer writing.
But anyway, I'll definitely be checking this out. Seinfeld, Louis CK, and Gervais can all be absolutely hilarious, and Chris Rock has his moments.
-
I saw this. I nearly died from laughing at points. Gervais has the weirdest laugh ever.

Turns out that was him reciting a Louis C.K. joke!
The special was really good. Crazy how Louis C.K. comes across as the alpha dog.

This was something new but these four individuals are everything I knew they were.
With the exception of Gervais; they're very decent people and very creative comedians.
Gervais is just a repulsive entity, just like my previous impression of him. Aside from the fact that he's almost never funny; he's incredibly pretentious, he got really lucky with The Office, which is okay, to be lucky that is. And now he's considered a top comedian? his stand up is awful and his public persona has a P.Diddy stickiness to it, it was so cool how early in the show Jerry was trying to point out that the way Gervais was dressed was of a trendy Hollywood casual nature, but Gervais made it about his weight loss.
Jerry Seinfeld is a walking legacy, his observational comedy in stand up and TV writing was genius for it's time although some of it still makes me laugh today, just for the delivery.
Chris Rock is simply the best still-relevant active stand up comic out there today, all five of his HBO stand up specials across the last 15 years have been hilarious, each of them topping the one before it, up to the 2008 one Kill The Messenger.
-
dude WTF. Gervais is the greatest comic figure of the last decade. He got LUCKY with the office? Are you serious? Plus Extras might even be better than the office. Not to mention the Ricky Gervais show which is funnier than anything currently on TV right now. Also i've watched his stand up specials more than any of the other comedians on that panel and i like them all. Gervais is the King. He also owned the Golden Globes.
-
Wow, double that dude WTF dude! we are very different on the subject :lol
-
Gervais beats Rock and Seinfeld for sure.
-
Crazy how Louis C.K. comes across as the alpha dog.
I don't know how much I know about the comedy community from hearing the BS Report, but apparently right now Louis C.K. is unarguably the most respected comedian out there.
-
A lot of that has to do with Louie. The things he's doing with 30 minutes of TV and total creative control are spellbinding.
It's phenomenal, and may very well rival The Office depending on how the second season goes.

All you have to do is watch each of his specials a couple of times and you realize: No question he's the best right now. And his peers know it.
