My all-time favorite sitcom has to be Seinfeld. I know there are quite a few fans on the forums (Hey Setra!) and I thought we could use a thread to appreciate this amazing show. What are your favorite episodes?
-
i am continuously amazed by the genius of this show...great on so many levels
appreciates
-
Great show. Started out terribly weak, but caught steam in a hurry, and didn't let up until it got toward the end. For a show, especially a comedy, to have a hot streak like that last for so long is impressive.
-
It is a great show. There is a site out there that plays seinfeld 24/7. I love just logging in whenever I have time and just watching a few episodes.
Curb Your Enthusiasm is also an excellent show.
-
So there's a website running Seinfield 24/7? Not that there's anything wrong with that.
-
Greatest sitcom of all time imo. My favorite episode is The Marine Biologist. We have a Seinfeld trivia game in the house, but everyone got sick of playing it with me because I always win. :lol
-
So there's a website running Seinfield 24/7? No that there's anything wrong with that.
Yup shoot me a pm and I'll send you a link.

Reap. Thank you. I was just making a joke with a Seinfield line. I didn't know that but I do own all the DVD's. Thank you again for thinking of me.

:heart Seinfeld.
-
Although the finale is very weak, it's kind of funny because you start to realize "Wow...these are actually really bad people..." :lol

I thought about starting a Seinfeld thread when the DTF came back online after the crash but thought it would be super lame since we have discussed it a lot in a long ass thread before the forum crash, so I'm glad someone else started it hehe
TBS is showing Seinfeld in "HD", cropped picture but looks nice on a big tv nonetheless.
-
Pretty much my first inspiration for my views on life, well that and a few certain friends. So yeah, Seinfeld is one of the large influences for me.
One of the best shows ever, still, I think.
-
I stole a lot of great quotes from that show. Like "Hoochymama" and "What do you want to hear?"...classic vlassic.
-
^This show is one of the definitions of "Classic", at least in the world of T.V.
"Why am I watching it?"
"Because it's on TV!"
"Not yet..!"
-
Greatest show of all-time. The Kenny Rogers Chicken episode was on the other night. Incredible.
-
Awesome show, definitely Top 5 of all time for me.
-
I'm out!
-
I love Seinfeld, but Curb Your Enthusiasm is my all-time favorite show. Also, Uncle Leo passed away last week.
-
Funniest sitcom ever (by a nose over Cheers).
I am aware.
-
I am aware.
Nice reference; somewhat obscure. One of my other favorite lines of the whole series comes from that same episode. Jerry's having supper on a date with the dermatologist:
"Do you know what's it's like to save someone's life, Jerry?"
"Is it anything like hitting a homer in softball? Because I hit a whopper last week!!!"
I love Seinfeld. I actually ended my valedictorian speech at graduation in high school by saying: "and so in the words of George Constanza -- 'THAT'S IT FOR ME!!!' "
-
I'm out!
This deserves recognition.
:rollin
-
Great show. One of the few I can tell you exactly which episode it is within 30 seconds of it starting.
-
Greatest show of all-time. The Kenny Rogers Chicken episode was on the other night. Incredible.
Nothing better than seeing Newman spitting out that brocolli! :lol
-
THE BEACH!!
-
Just watched 3 episodes on the website that broadcasts Seinfeld 24/7. :corn
-
Seinfeld is great. Not much else to say...although I prefer Curb, for sure.
-
Curb is the funniest show ever on TV

Could you spare some change for an ole buccaneer?
You know that's really not a bad looking shirt.

This is probably my favourite episode ever. I seriously lost it when I saw Jerry wearing these:
I usually chuckle at stuff like this, but I laughed so hard. Don't know why, I just lost it ;D
-
Shrinkage.
-
Quite frankly, the greatest tv show that has ever existed. The brilliance of each episode just floors me everytime. The intertwining plots that eventually link all the characters together, the subtle jokes, the real life scenarios that are just so familiar, the real life human interaction that no other tv show dared to deliver, just the sheer comedic genius. Amazing show, life changing.
-
Old Lady: "He's stealing my marble rye!"
Jerry: "Shut up you old bag!"
-
Requires no decoration, I find tinsel distracting.
-
It's the best comedy I have ever seen on TV, and I would be shocked if there is anything else out there as consistently funny, relating and smart.
-
You know its awesome when you still crack up on the fifth round of re-runs.

That shirt was on display at the Air & Space Museum in DC when I was there.

Seinfeld is easily my favorite tv show. I watch an episode while eating dinner just about every weekday.
-
Thanks to this thread I'm back in the habit of watching an episode every night before bed, as was the custom for years.
-
Took me too long to see this thread. Glad to know that I'm still considered a pantheon Seinfeld fan (Hey icy!).
So yeah...HEEEELLLLLOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! LALALAAAAA!!!!
-
cozmo is a genius
-
So I spent the night at my brother's new house last night, and I must say, the episode with the sofa bed is quite accurate. I had to sleep sideways to avoid having a bar jammed into my back.

"The Timeless Art of Seduction"
I had this poster directly above my bed for a year in college. It did not, however, survive the transition to marriage.
-
A poster store near my house has a framed version of "The Timeless Art of Seduction" and "The Kramer". I want them both.
-
The sea was angry that day, my friends. Like an old man trying to send back soup at a deli. I got about fifty feet out, and then suddenly the great beast appeared before me.
I tell you, he was ten stories high if he was a foot! As if sensing my presence, he let out a great bellow. I said, "Easy, big fella!" And then as I watched him struggling, I realized something was obstructing his breathing. From where I was standing, I could see directly into the eye of the great fish!
-
Mammal.
-
Whatever!
-
So what did you do next?
-
Then from out of nowhere a huge title wave lifted, tossed like a cork and I found myself on top of him face to face with the blow-hole. I could barely see from all of the waves crashing down on top of me but I knew something was there so I reached my hand and pulled out the obstruction!!

-
What is that, a Titleist?
-
I've never been a fan of the non-animated sitcoms, but this show simply cannot be beaten.
-
What is that, a Titleist?
That was on yesterday. :lol I love Kramer's reaction to George holding the golf ball up to him.
-
A hole in one, eh?
On another forum, we had a poll for best Seinfeld secondary character (meaning, excluding the big 4, Newman, and Jerry and George's parents). I picked Mickey Abbot (the little person). He was such a great foil to Kramer. I hate saying this, but just seeing them side by side makes me laugh. The fact that he got pissed so easily while Kramer was always so carefree made for some great scenes between them, like when Mickey is doing the audition and Kramer can't sit down because his jeans are too tight. Hilarious scene.
Jesus I just did some wiki'ing on the show, and the gal who worked the counter at the coffee shop (Ruth Cowen) was in 101 episodes.

Robert Horry-itis I say. Sure we remember seeing him in the playoffs seemingly every season for like a 15-year stretch but goddamn is it surprising when you find out he has more rings than Jordan.

I think I've watched every Seinfeld episode at least 10 times, some many more then that. Its the show that I can watch the same episode many times, sometimes twice on the same day. I don't think I'm alone on that.

Yep Im in the same boat.
-
I want to post a hillarious Seinfeld quote, but theres so many, I'd be racking my brain all day trying to think of one :lol
Huge fan of 'The Sein' here, own all the DVD boxsets and they're always in continuous play. The behind the scenes extras and extra stand-up bits are great. Currently re-watching Season 6. The Fussili Jerry, an absolute classic. I wish the K man was my neighbour, possibly the best sitcom character ever!
Also wanted to go see Jerry at the o2 back in June, couldn't get the time off work though :-[ maybe next time!
-
What, do you do a lot of that did you ever notice stuff? It strikes me, a lot of people seem to be doing that these days.

Love it and will never get tired of it. I've watched every episode, I figure, at least 15 times each. Some more then that. I have that box set that was released a few years ago. If you are a fan, you must get this. The bonus material is awesome. When I turn on the tv, I'm pretty much scanning to see if Seinfeld is on.
-
RISK night with my friends is always entertaining. "A sitting duck! A road apple!"
We have a diner we call Monk's in town. They know we call it monks. And we always sit at the same table. If someone sits at our table, we will sit somewhere else, and move there when they leave.
He is a loathsome, offensive brute. Yet, I cannot look away.

I LOVE Curb Your Enthusiasm. Fans of Seinfeld should agree.

Five inch bunch right there.

I'm not entirely sure I understand. Urban dictionary suggests it has something to do with the illusion given that someone has a boner when in reality they do not. Are you referencing the first episode of Curb, the 'Pants Tent'? Or are you suggesting that Larry David is giving me the illusion of arousal?

Michael Richards was the reason I started watching Seinfeld to begin with. I'd seen him as Stanley Spadowski in the Weird AL film UHF ( which is brilliant ).
Kinda bummed what happened to him at the comedy club - but he admitted it was a mistake, he apologised to everyone repeatedly and can poke fun at it now.

Yeah man, the boxset is killer, got it as soon as it came out, great bonuses.

Definitely one of the best comedy series ever. Hard to compare to the greats of other genres though (Drama--> The Wire)

I have 4 series of Seinfeld on DVD and I keep meaning to get not only the complete set but also Curb.

"Well, let me tell you something, funny boy. Y'know that little stamp, the one that says "New York Public Library"? Well, that may not mean anything to you, but that means a lot to me. One whole hell of a lot. Sure, go ahead, laugh if you want to. I've seen your type before: Flashy, making the scene, flaunting convention. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. What's this guy making such a big stink about old library books? Well, let me give you a hint, junior. Maybe we can live without libraries, people like you and me. Maybe. Sure, we're too old to change the world, but what about that kid, sitting down, opening a book, right now, in a branch at the local library and finding drawings of pee-pees and wee-wees on the Cat in the Hat and the Five Chinese Brothers? Doesn't HE deserve better? Look. If you think this is about overdue fines and missing books, you'd better think again. This is about that kid's right to read a book without getting his mind warped! Or: maybe that turns you on, Seinfeld; maybe that's how y'get your kicks. You and your good-time buddies. Well I got a flash for ya, joy-boy: Party time is over. Y'got seven days, Seinfeld. That is one week!"
-
The best part was that his name was bookman.

The best part was that his name was bookman.
And the fact that Jerry Seinfeld was literally trying not to laugh during the entire rant, often times not doing a very good job of it. :lol In fact, I think the "Sure, go ahead, laugh if you want to" line was ad-libbed by Philip Baker Hall when he saw Seinfeld chuckling a little bit.
-

"Doctor... I call you Pimple-popper MD"
"Why would I, a Juilliard trained Dermatologist, refer this man to another doctor?"
-
I've just been in the process of watching the series from begining to end. Complete with every deleted scene, blooper, bonus feature, commentary, interview and any other extra in the dvd set. I'm just finishing the 7th season. Even though Ive already seen every episode at least 15 times, still awesome.
-
I caught the pilot episode (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Seinfeld_Chronicles) last week. The acting was very awkward, and many details wound up being changed in the full production (eg. Kramer was actually called Kessler, apparently, though I didnt see the full episode). It's hard to imagine the show really catching on after that pilot.
Kinda bummed what happened to him at the comedy club - but he admitted it was a mistake, he apologised to everyone repeatedly and can poke fun at it now.
This was parodied in the final episode of the season of Curb Your Enthusiasm where they produce a reunion episode.
-
Kramer: Hey Jerry, I'm starting a Peterman Reality Bus tour! Check it out!
George: Reality tour?
Jerry: The last thing this guy's qualified to give a tour of is reality.
-
Serenity now!
-
"Serenity Now... Insanity Later" Loyd
"Jer... Let's do it!" Elaine
"I've gotta tell you... I don't see it happening." Jerry
"But what happened to the new Jerry?" Elaine
"He doesn't work here anymore." Jerry
-
"you're killing independent George"
-
"Ohhh... you're poo-pooing" Kramer
"Yes... I poo-poo" Jerry
I do have to say that my favorite episode may be "The Heart Attack". The entire exchange in Thor Eckman's apartment (or office if you like) is absolutely classic! I never get tired of watching it.
"You Know, I lived with the Eskomos and they used to plunge their faces into the snow..."

George: So I started to walk into the water. I won't lie to you boys, I was terrified! But I pressed on and as I made my way passed the breakers a strange calm came over me. I don't know if it was divine intervention or the kinship of all living things but I tell you Jerry at that moment I was a marine biologist!
George: The sea was angry that day, my friends - like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli. I got about fifty feet out and suddenly the great beast appeared before me. I tell you he was ten stories high if he was a foot. As if sensing my presence, he let out a great bellow. I said, "Easy, big fella!" "In closing, these stories have not been embellished because they need no embellishment. They are simply, horrifyingly the story of my life as a short, stocky, slow-witted, bald man. Thank you. Oh, also: my fiancée died from licking toxic envelopes that I picked out. Thanks again."

I hate how the last 2 seasons don't have the comedy interludes. I love those things
-
George "What a weekend! Swimming, lobster for dinner!"
Kramer "I know, it's great huh? Oh and I saw Jane topless."
Jerry: Best reaction in TV history
-
I think it's high time I finally watch through the entire series in chronological order. I've pretty sure I've seen the majority of the episodes, but I have to know for sure.
-
I have the complete series on DVD, and I've got to say that I just can't really get in to season 1. Season 2 is where the show really starts to become the Seinfeld we know and love, with The Chinese Restaurant being the first really great episode (and that's toward the end of season 2 I think).
-
George "What a weekend! Swimming, lobster for dinner!"

Early on you could tell they didn’t really know what to do with Elaine. And they joke about it later when they are writing their pilot, that they don’t know how to write for a woman. The best thing they ever did was to have Jerry and Elaine be exes, which really opened up the door for the original dynamic the two of them had, and shared with George and Kramer.
-

I've only gotten into watching Seinfeld seriously in recent weeks. Such a genius television show, my favorite episodes are The Puffy Shirt and The Contest, but they're all top notch
-
Seinfeld is one of the few TV shows I watch on a regular basis. The Rye, The Bubble Boy, The Subway and The Puffy Shirt are a few of my favorites. Some of the episodes from the last two seasons were a bit lackluster but the show was amazingly consistent.
-
Season's 3-6 are gold. They're GOLD I tell ya!
-
I just watched The Mango (S5E1) last night and it knocked me off my feet. Definitely one of my favorites and, judging from a lot of online 'favorite seinfeld episode' lists, generally underrated episodes. I just about climaxed when Kramer talked about faking an orgasm himself (the topic of the episode being women faking). Really, priceless scene in a fantastic episode. Unfortunately I couldn't find that particular clip, but this one is nearly as good. Classic George moment!

Sometimes the internet just delivers! So Jerry recently rejected (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vACmKnQbjw) a hug from Kesha while being interviewed that went viral. Which lead to some dude of course making a Seinfeld script of the whole thing:
https://imgur.com/a/DOihl
-
Other than the 'Mulva' part, that was 'Gold, Jerry. Pure Gold.'
-
Jerry continues to be simply awesome for (1) not knowing who Kesha is and (2) for not randomly hugging a stranger. Love you Jerry, still keeping it real.
-

of course Kesha fans are saying "how dare he" and " your career is over "...
:lolpalm:
I bet any money that if a mid 60s guy who she didn't know - ran up and said IM YOUR BIGGEST FAN CAN I HUG YOU - she'd be all like "not a fucking chance" if her 10 security
guards didn't beat him to a pulp already.

WOW....You are DEAD ON!! I was thinking the exact same thing!! I will add also that I'm sure she doesn't get turned down too often...LOVE IT JERRY!
-
of course Kesha fans are saying "how dare he" and " your career is over "...
:lolpalm:
Now that's funny.

:lol Im sure she doesn't. I just awesome because it's another example of Jerry literally being Jerry (his character) in real life. That totally could have been the topic of an episode (hence the reddit script).
-
It's called Seinfeld because Jerry IS Jerry.
He's playing himself - mainly because he's not really an actor.
All the stories are based on actual real life events that either Jerry or Larry David witnessed or participated in.

Oh I know, I just think it's cool to still see that manifest itself organically all these years later.

You mean they actually saw someone pushing a frogger machine across the street?

Actually, a lot of the writers brought in their real life experiences.

Slight tangent but I always think it's better to base a lie on actual truth and change the details.
Because you can lie convincingly as you're just changing small details of fact.
-
I have no idea who Kesha is, so I'm right there with Jerry. :lol :lol
-
I like when she went with "a little one?" she lowered herself a tiny bit.
"Well, I wish her the best" is the best part of that whole thing.
And oh god that script!
George: "I don't see why you're complaining. I wish more women hugged me."
-
I have no idea who Kesha is, so I'm right there with Jerry. :lol :lol
Isn't that the food George's father is eating in bed? Oh, wait. That's Kasha.

Today is the 30th anniversary of the show, it premiered on July 5 1989.
It's still one of my very favourite shows, and definitely my favourite comedy show of all time.
-
Agreed on all point Zydar, Seinfeld is one of the few shows that I can just watching over and over
-
Indeed. So many moments ingrained into my memory
-
Favorite minor characters? Has to be Puddy for me. Between the man-fur, car salesman, and face-painting, he’s got so many funny moments/lines.

Depends if we're talking the primary support cast, or tier-3 random appearances. Supporting cast ... Frank Costanza. MINOR characters... Petermen. Hands down.
-
There are 180 Seinfeld episodes and I figure I've seen each episode around 30 times at least.
That's over 5,000 times I've seen the show.
I would say it's a good show and that I like it lol.
-
Some of the very early ones, like in Seasons 1 and 2, I have only seen maybe twice, but from Season 3 until the 3rd to last episode, I have seen all of those probably 25 times each at least. :lol :lol
And I say "3rd to last" because the 2nd to last one was terrible, and the finale I have only gone back and watched maybe two more times since.
-
Supporting Cast: Morty Seinfeld
Minor Character: Mickey Abbot
Really Minor Character: Bookman, The Library Cop
One-shot Character: Wilford Brimly, Postmaster General
-

I always really liked Peterman, his stories always cracks me up and that episode when George is ditched to have dinner with him is gold. In a similar spirit I think Elaine's dad (maybe he was only in that one episode? i forget) was great and you could feel the awkwardness through the screen when Jerry and George are waiting for Elaine to show. Frank is great too as is Puddy ofc.

Minor Character: Mickey Abbot
Really Minor Character: Bookman, The Library Cop
I wrote a fairly long-winded bit about how my favorite supporting character on the show was Mickey. Not sure if it was here or another forum. He was the perfect foil to Kramer. The scene where he is auditioning for the theater role with Kramer when he has on his skinny jeans is genius.
Good call on Bookman too as the one-time character spot.
Peterman and Puddy were great adds to the recurring cast, giving us enough of their hilarity without overdoing it. As a brilliant comic once said, they left us wanting more.

Lilith Stern-Crane?

One-shot Character: Wilford Brimly, Postmaster General
Brimly was great. He doesn't strike you as an imposing character but he pulls it off. My favorite is the LA homicide detective who does exactly the same thing as Brimly.

Oh yes! 5 minutes of internet research reveals him to be Lieutenant Martel.

This first scene cracks me up every time :lol

I love in that scene how Jerry Seinfeld is legit trying not to laugh numerous times, resulting in Philip Baker Fall improvising the line, "Sure, go ahead and laugh if you want," on the spot. I love stuff like that.
-
Estelle Harris passed away, just days shy of turning 94.
Cannot underrate how important she was on Seinfeld. She and Jerry Stiller had amazing chemistry.
R.I.P.

Yeah, they stole every scene they were in, and made Alexander a better performer, and George a better character.
-
"Divorce is very difficult. Especially on a kid. Of course, I'm the result of my parents having stayed together... so you never know."
-George Costanza
-
His parents weren't in the scene, but one of George's best lines was when Susan's parents were talking about how tragic it is when parents outlive a child, and George replies, "Yes, I agree. I hope my parents go long before I do." :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin

That's sad, even at a good age of 94. Integral character to the show for sure.

At a monthly staff meeting the other day at the college where I work. HR related topics....with representing lawyers explaining various protocols for worksite behavior. Dude used a Seinfeld episode to explain something an employee got in trouble for referencing (female anatomy). He said a guy was talking about what Jerry yelled out the window to whom he said was "Mulva"....I told him that was Jerry's fall back answer/question throughout the show, and that of course it was "Dolores" at the end.
I didn't correct him in front of everyone at the meeting, but mentioned it to him afterwards. He seemed very appreciative to get the name right....though I still think it was an odd thing to bring up in the first place. Very awkward....esp. considering there were several female staff members at the meeting (including the other lawyer!).
-
And just a couple weeks later, Liz Sheridan, who played Jerry's mom dies.
-
Heard about this yesterday. Damn. One of my favorite lines ever in Seinfeld is her answering the apartment door ... "Hellooooo, Newman".
-
This 1985 McDonalds commercial featuring Jason Alexander makes the rounds every now and again on Twitter. Always cracks me up.

Since I haven’t seen it mentioned reading through the thread, The Parking Garage is one of my favorite episodes, particularly the ending. Definitely something you couldn’t make in the era of cell phones, but back then this kind of stuff just happened (same with the Chinese Restaurant). Also hilarious how Michael Richards totally busted his face on the AC when he throws it in the trunk.

I can't help but think that at least 1/2 of the Seinfeld catalog would never work in this day and age. Kids these days will never understand the genius of it.

Also funny that the car not starting at the end was not planned, and you can see Jason Alexander laughing in the back seat as Michael Richards is trying to get it started.

Yeah the Parking Garage is a wonderful episode. I think my favorite bit is the peeing in the corner one. The guard just appearing out of nowhere to catch them in the act (twice!) always cracks me up. :lol

Yep, I forgot that that bit wasn’t planned. Glad the car didn’t start, because that was the absolute perfect ending. Gold, Jerry!
-
Same with Richards getting out and just staring off in the distance. Brilliant improv moment.
-
Richards, to his credit, was the best of the four by far of not breaking character. I have watched the outtakes and bloopers more times than I can count, and he would get frustrated at times when someone would break, but hey, JLD once said that no one was a bigger fan of the show than they were, so the cast knew that what they were doing was hysterical, and they knew it in real time. And it is human nature. When something is funny to you, you laugh. I always find if fun to re-watch episodes and try to find moments where someone is close to breaking character, or even doing it a little, like when Jerry is trying not laugh at being read the riot act by the library cop, who ad libbed the line, Sure, go ahead and laugh if you want," because Jerry was legit trying not to laugh, or the scene where Jerry notices Kramer's teeth are discolored due to smoking ("Look away, I'm hideous!"). There are several sudden camera angle changes in that scene to where I always think they had to cobble what we saw in the episode from God only knows how many takes.
-
You can tell Jerry is the one who struggles with that the most IMO - he feels like the one who most often 'loses it' at the others being hysterical or the situation he finds himself in being absurd. With that said I think that works in the show's favor because Jerry is the 'normal guy' of the friend group and many of the crazy situations happen because of his friends so it's almost fitting in a way that he as the 'narrator' is the one to react in a way like "this is too funny to be happening". :lol

I always thought Elaine at the car rental check-out counter was on the verge of peeing herself as well, and managed to get thru (after lord knows how many takes) by just letting out a little chuckle.

That is absolutely one of my favorite scenes in the whole length and breadth of the show.
-
I would have no idea how to narrow it down to just one scene.
-
He had an extensive career, and every headline I've seen references "Philip Baker Hall... of Seinfeld..." which just goes to show 1) how much of a landmark show that was, and 2) how awesome he was in that role.
-
He was one of those actors who always seemed to pop up in everything. R.I.P.
As for one scene, I could maybe narrow it down to Mel Torme singing to (what they thought was a mentally challenged) Kramer. The combo of Michael Richards' reactions and the booming laughs of Larry David and Julia Louis-Dreyfus off camera just make it pure gold.
-

I never caught that laughter. But yes, great call on that scene for sheer absurdity and hilarity. Probably wouldn't pass muster in 2022. Along those lines, the one scene I always remember is after Jerry tanks that gal's puffy shirt idea, and they leave the diner and see the bums with the shirts on, a gal in the audience audibly cries "Oh my god..." before the laughter erupts.

For me, there's the obvious ...

or ...

Or him as the underwear model. And also when he has to get rid of his briefs
It would seem all my fave moments involve Kramer.
But now that I think about it a bit, George's 'Marine Biologist' monologue is right up there.
-
This clip is really two scenes, but includes my favorite scene (the first of the two, and is all one take).....and the second scene is a continuation of the first. As such, not only is it the best sequence in a Seinfeld episode... it's JLD at her finest, and perhaps one of the greatest 3 and a half minutes in a sitcom ever.
https://youtu.be/YSJ7AKcHgLI
-
I so rarely see that JLD scene because it is in an otherwise poor episode. There are a handful of Seinfeld episodes from the early seasons I never re-watch, and The Busboy is one of them.
George's marine biologist is definitely way up there for sure.
One little moment that makes me LOL for real every time is from The Pen, when the neighbor lady comes in and goes, "So, where's the new pen?" Morty's eye roll, which basically says, "here we go," is freaking priceless. That kills me every time. 1:37 in the below link.

Big fan of "I'm out!". Also "Vandalay Industries! Vandalay Industries!"
But I don't know Seinfeld as well as some of you do. I probably should give it a watch sometimes.
-
Yes to both the Marine Biologist ("the sea was angry that day, my friends. Like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli!") and the "And you wanna be my latex saleseman" scenes. I quote from both of them frequently!

You need to check that episode out. I can especially relate to Jerry better as an adult with the whole “helping a guy move is a whole new level of friendship” thing.

Didn't watch (don't have to) .... that's another fantastic scene.
"BOXERS!?!?! How do you wear these things? They're riding up on me; THERE'S NOTHING HOLDING ME IN PLACE. I'm flippin, I'm floppin'.".
I was looking for a gif of him slapping his entire pile of gitch on Jerry's table.
"Well I'm just gonna have to move now"
I'm kinda curious how accurate my quotations are - I'm going completely from memory on all of these (which I hope all of you are as well).

That .gif of Kramer in the slim fit jeans is my #1 favorite Kramer moment from the show.

I loved him in so many bit scenes. From Cheers, to Boston Legal, to Psych. The guy was such a good deadpan comedic actor at times.
-
The blooper of Kramer drinking the beer is still so awesome (at the end of the clip below). They should have left that as is in the actual episode, as it would have fit his character perfectly, and the actor playing the accountant in the scene not laughing at all still seems like an amazing accomplishment.

Yeah, that blooper cut would've worked just fine too.

Seinfeld is still the greatest show of all time, end of discussion

Found this video in my YouTube feed. Some of these I didn't catch upon my first viewing of the episode, some of these I would have never got to this day as I'd never seen the associated movie.

"Divorce is always hard. Especially on the kids. Of course I am the result of my parents having stayed together so ya never know." George Costanza.
I've said before Seinfeld's brilliance, aside from the writing, lies not in its star, or co-stars, but in its "minor" characters. And I use minor in quotes as the impact of Frank, Estelle, Newman, Mickey, and the rest is anything but minor.

I think the term you’re looking for is “secondary”, and yes, I agree with you.
-
Well, the greatness and hilarity of the main four stars cannot be overstated (take any of them out of the equation and the show is not even close to being the same), but, yes, they did always did a great job in casting with the secondary and minor characters, as well as the one-episode ones.
