I have yet to accomplish anything noteworthy in my life. I'm always too stressed out and scatterbrained to get anything done that I can be proud of.

You've made many great comics. People here really like them, that seems like a significant accomplishment to me.

Seriously. You've found something you're good at and something you clearly enjoy (otherwise, would you really continue making them?). Whether or not it becomes your career isn't the point. You've accomplished a hell of a lot more than I have, Chris, simply because you've found a calling. I have yet to do that and I envy you for it.

I wrote an APUSH essay in one night (that's all the time we had) and did an eight-page APUSH outline in one night, but actually put a lot of effort into both as opposed to rushing through them and skipping parts of the outline. I'm trying a lot harder for the third quarter 'cause I wanna bring my GPA up to a 90.0 from an 89.09.

At the comunity gardens where Ive been volunteering, I mapped out one future nature trail, and partialy cleared the trail I marked out.
I got some school kids to help me plant some plants sunday. some bellpepper plants , jalapeno plants, serrano plants, tomato plants, some onions, and some coriander/cilantro plants.
we also got some families to plant a bunch of seeds in raised beds.
I hope they survive this freeze thats hitting deep south Texas.
my freinds and I covered the plants the other night, with some tarps, and made a framework of sugarcane, to hold the tarps off the plants.

other than that Ive done zip, zilch, nada, nothin'.

I had my last cigarette on November 4th.  Granted I'd only been smoking for 2-3 years, but still.  Felt no ill effects from stopping, no withdrawals, nothing.  Every once in a while, when we're doing a lot of drinking, I feel the urge to smoke, only out of the smoke/drink connection habit, but I always resist and am certain I will continue to be able to resist.

I worked my ass off to scrape together a B in chem.
So far, I haven't got anything besides A's on my AP History tests/overall grades; I just really, really want to show my parents that I can handle an AP course.
(Sorry if this is too "graphic" or something:) I haven't cut myself in quite a few months and have fought off the urge every time.
I've been having a sea of happy days with a few craptastic days recently instead of the other way around.
And the most important:
I DEFEATED QUEEN GOHMA in the Legend of Zelda and the Ocarina of Time (which I haven't played in YEARS)!!!!!!!  :metal  :metal  :metal

Public speaking gets easier as you realise that you don't have to have the smooth delivery of an actor to be effective.  Unless you are truely afraid of social situations, its fairly easy to overcome.

Also, I just watched a teaser trailer from the student production team that is using a script I wrote for their final film for their majors. It's pretty awesome that I wrote something good enough for people to stake something so big on.

Oh, yeah, and Ryo Okumoto joined my band, The ANABASIS, full time - pretty cool to have the keyboard player from one of my favorite bands of all time (Spock's Beard) in my own band.

Our debut album is almost complete.  Drums will be recorded at Karl Groom's Thin Ice Studios in April.  We're just finishing up backing vocals.

Sorry for the shameless plug, but it is a HUGE accomplishment for me, three years of work, actually.

Here's a few good things that happened in the past 12 months:

1.  Got promoted last year
2.  Got a bonus this year equivalent to 12 days of pay
3.  Got an annual merit increase .4% higher than the dept avg allocation
4.  Last but not least, this year is my 25th service anniversary with the company

Now, all I need is a nice piece O' ass to go with it.  :-\   Oh well, can't have everything I guess.

But you got money man. Chicks dig dudes with money.

Nah, women now days don't want a man.  They want a little boy that does everything he's told.  That's just not me.  :-\

Got a 91 on my bio test. Had an extremely stressful week with a test in every class, and I thought I bombed my bio one, so I'm pretty happy with that grade.

1) Was design engineer and now am project manager for two of my companies largest projects; totaling $2.3 mil and $5.1 mil each.
2) Reached an "intermediate" level in French; I can hold a decent conversation and read quite well
3) Got accepted into a 1-year study abroad program in France in Mechanical Engineering (leaving this May) with EUR800 per month stipend for the program
4) Broke $60K USD income (which I will loose this may, sigh)
5) I have now slept with a girl of every major race (white, Asian, black, Indian, middle eastern, Hispanic)
6) Fell in love with the girl I am currently seeing (haven't told her)
7) Got ilvl-352 on my protection Warrior
8) Won my first sparring match against an advanced student at my martial arts school
9) Was told the other day by a model that I have "beautiful skin."  In high school I was plagued with acne and the last thing I would ever think to hear was that.  I was in total shock.
