RADIOHEAD: Fake Plastic Trees, Street Spirit
THE VERVE: The Drugs Don't Work
PINK FLOYD: Wish You Were Here
-
Blackfield - Cloudy Now
-
A lot of songs. But here's a few that comes to my mind
- Guns N'Roses: Estranged, November Rain (especially with the video; the guitar solo in the desert in front of the church is musically and visually perfect)
- Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here
- Metallica: Fade To Black, To Live Is To Die
- Blackfield: All
- Porcupine Tree: Collapse Light Into Earth
- Heavenly: Dust to Dust
- Iced Earth: Question of Heaven
- Megadeth: A Tout Le Monde
- Pain of Salvation: A lot of their songs, but I'd say Iter Impius
- Dream Theater: Disappear, Another Day
- Radiohead: How To Disappear Completly
- Avenged Sevenfold: Dear God
- Supertramp: Don't Leave Me Now
Yeah, that's not bad. And all of these songs are in my favorites of each band. I totally agree with Steven Wilson: sad music is the most beautiful music. It makes you feels such emotions...

I'LL NEVER FLY AGAIN, I WILL HANG UP MY WINGS
OHHH GOODDDD
Sends chills up my spine every time.

Alice in Chains - "Nutshell" - MTV Unplugged
One of the absolute saddest songs I have ever heard. As I mentioned in another thread, it's absolutely creepy and sad when you realize Layne's singing is a foreshadow of his own situation.
-
Jeff Buckley - "Forget Her"
-
Thanks for the reminder, Jeff Buckley-Grace (the whole album)

I only enjoy a handful. Converge being one of them. Breakdowns get tedious after a while.
