There's ANOTHER freakin edition of Bitches Brew??????   I've got the regular remaster and the Complete Bitches Brew Sessions.

Where is the Live DVD from? Is it previously unreleased?

I prefer most of his work from about 1965 on, but I listen to some of the pre-1965 albums too (The Birth Of Cool....Kind Of Blue...Live At Carnegie Hall), just not as much.

I LOVE the live albums....even Get Up With Miles.

That said, I've still got a LOT of appreciating to do.

I don't own any of his stuff, but I listen to it a lot on last.fm

So I appreciate.

Flamenco Sketches  :heart

But yes, I do appreciate Miles to the max. Fantastic music. Visionary. Listening to the complete live at the Plugged Nickel was mind-altering (even if he said he wasn't on top of his game when recording that) to begin with, but adding the rest of it? Mind fuck.

I need to get the Complete Plugged Nickel at some point.

I feel a Miles weekend coming on soon.....

I pretty much hate standard jazz, but fusion jazz is alright. Bitches Brew is superior to 99% of the music that exists.
