Hello all! I would like to inform you about some very exciting news (to me anyways). I auditioned for Berklee in Miami around 6 months ago, performing a Virgil Donati piece entitled Native Metal. Come to find out I made it in with a hefty scholarship! I have been living in the Boston area for a few weeks now and it's great, especially Berklee itself. I walk into local music stores and EVERYONE is amazing, which is very nerve-racking! Anyways, I would like to know if any of you are currently attending Berklee, or any other major music universities that have some words of wisdom for a lowly freshman as myself. Also, if anyone has any questions let me know. :)

Awesome to hear! :tup
Do you have any specific instrument or what is your focus?

Virgil Donati is a drummer, so I'm guessing drums.
Also, congrats!

I have a couple friends that go to Berklee. Not sure how big the school is, but if you run into Jeshua Whitaker or a black guy drummer named Joe (who has a full-ride there) - check them out, great players.
