I had been a fan of DT since 1992, but SFAM was what really made me bump Queensryche from the "favorite band" spot they had occupied since 1990, and Live Scenes sealed the deal. I'm listening to LSFNY right now and was transported back to that awesome time in the band's history. I really hope video of the second set eventually gets released on Ytsejam or some other format. Anyway, just wanted to appreciate this amazing live album.

After UFO's Strangers In The Night, this is my favorite live album of all time. It has turned the studio version of SFAM into a coaster.
A tremendous performance. I love what they did with Through Her Eyes. James gives me the chills on that.

Definitely my favorite DT live DVD. It's so much fun to watch, especially because of James. You can really tell that James is giving it his all to give a good performance.

Live Scenes sealed the deal.
I agree. SFAM gave me what I needed all my life; LSFNY just "sealed the deal".

Second set?

Second set?
From Metropolis Pt. 1 up to Jordan's solo bit.

I'd like that entire DVD re-released without any of the special effects used in Dance of Eternity. I love that DVD quite a bit and find the commentary excellent.
The secons set would be nice too :)

I love this album and everything, but (forgive my stupidity) what's the relation to the thread title?

It's what James says after he drops the mic during Home.

Huh, never noticed that before.

I've always wondered what he said at that point, exactly. I had always caught "I told" and "crazy" in his sentence, but not quite the rest... I never realized he dropped his mic during "Home", so it never occurred to me for him to say "crazy GLUE" or anything of the such.

Listening again, and it reminded me of this thread. I'm rockin' out to Home right now in the office after hours, and had to say James' crazy glue line.
-
At what point does he say it? I can't find it :D

Another late night for the bosky. Great line by James. I had forgotten about that.
Rockin out to "over the edge" on his latest solo album.

About 8:04-8:06 in Home.

*jealous* (both because you're home and because you have the album)

You know, I've listened that album so many times before and I never ever picked up on that. Thanks bosk

Amazon.com MP3 is your friend. Bought (downloaded) the record when I woke up on Tuesday morning.
Get done soon so you can go home. And as a side note, we need to get together once this year. It's been forever and a day. If I have to drag you to Armored Saint in a couple weeks, I will.
*now back to regularly scheduled LSFNY discussion*
