Title: Something worse than Kesha...
Post by: Slain on July 12, 2010, 07:51:31 AM
I say Kesha because a "$" symbol isn't a letter, and by worse I mean it's like 3 of her in a band, but all 3 individually are worse. Together, this could mean the end.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubfWnIid5J8

Someone posted a song by them in the "Worst Song You've Ever Heard" thread, and I think they deserve their own bashing thread.

:(

There goes three minutes I'll never get back.

And 30% of my brain cells just died.

In the Name of God, why are people like this allowed to be famous? Seriously?

Acting trashy and having no talent = latest pop star?

I mean, I never thought pop artists like Britney Spears were that great of singers, but this is a new level of horrible that is almost unfathomable. I thought those Kesha songs were bad.

Even if one were to say it was catchy, is this really the message we want this sort of music's demographic to be listening to? Sure, let's allow catchy music to be made about girls who want their a-l-c-o-h-o-l... Woooooo...

I wouldn't say there's anything catchy about this song.
It drilled into my mind and stayed there until I read some death/doom reviews on MA. So, unfortunately yes. (And that's after only listening to the first 30 seconds.)

Hahaha fair enough... I was being a bit ironic anyway. Catchy music, whether it's written well or not, can still suck, but that's a discussion for the Lyrics Importance thread! Yay for cross-thread discussions... :lol

I agree.  Hell, I even like some of this kind of music (Lady Gaga, Katy Perry) but there's just nothing here catchy... and I hate the way she does the snotty rap/talk stuff... Ke$ha, that is.  Sorry I was expecting it to be her song....

I don't have a problem with catchy pop songs. But this isn't catchy, it's irritating. I mean, come on... it doesn't even seem like they're trying. It's not rapping, and it's not singing either.. it's kind of like, talking in a bubbly-airhead-slut voice for 2 minutes with techno beats in the background.
