Before Clockwork Angels is released next year, let's see if you Rush fans here on DTF enjoy the band's Even-numbered albums or the Odd-numbered ones more...
Evens:
Fly By Night, 2112, Hemispheres, Moving Pictures, Grace Under Pressure, Hold Your Fire, Roll The Bones, Test For Echo, Snakes & Arrows
Odds:
Rush, Caress Of Steel, A Farewell To Kings, Permanent Waves, Signals, Power Windows, Presto, Counterparts, Vapor Trails

Odds win

I still don't have a few albums, but A Farewell To Kings and Permanent Waves are my 2 favorites, so odds win.
-
Yeah, I'm going to have to go with the odds too. CoS, AFTK, PW, Counterparts -- definitely the odds.
-
Farewell to Kings, Permanent Waves, and Power Windows FTW.
-
the first four albums of evens kill
-
Evens, in spite of one of my favorites, Counterparts, being in Odds. It's just a stronger overall lineup.
-
Except for Farewell of Kings, the evens take it
-
The odds win for me.
-
Evens, yo. Swap Counterparts with T4E and you've got my desert island Rush discs.
-
Five of my favorites on each side, so I can't vote.
-
Hmmmm, interesting thing to think about. I will do this methodically:
s/t vs. FbN: Edge to FbN (even)
Cos vs. 2112: Edge to 2112 (even)
AFtk vs. Hemis.: Edge to Hemis. (even)
PeW vs. MP: Edge to PeW (odd)
Signals vs. P/G: Edge to P/G (even)
Pow vs. HYF: Edge to PoW (odd)
Presto vs. RtB: Edge to RtB (even)
CP vs. TfE: Edge to CP (odd)
VT vs. S&A: Edge to S&A (even)
Looks like the even wins it by a score of 5-3, but odds do have three of my top five (PeW, PoW and CP), so it is pretty close, either way.
